Mike D getting whacked isnt really all that surprising, to me this means we havnt been anywhere near where we need to be. Maybe Mike hit the mark somewhere, but it couod also just be getting rid of a good player, which would mean mafia feel they have some wiggle room

Voting for Boner with some conviction then pulling away with a "now that I look at it you really aren't suspicious" and then throwing out a runoff and suspicion list that only have one name in common. While I can see that this game has been cumbersome at times, I just figured Tejas would be a little more involved, and wonder if he's just mafia trying to hide.

I think you're exactly right. I don't usually suggest inspectors to come out but I think if out inspector is still alive it's just about as good of time as any.

I can see where your coming from. I haven't had a vote on me since day 1 which is definitely odd. My vote right now is going to boner. He's been in the conversation way too much since day 1. Yet hasn't made it to a runoff.

I'll admit, you're bull shit from last round got me a little unhinged. Your constant ignorance of my reasoning behind my actions, and only choosing to believe your own selective version of my actions just screamed of mafia manipulation. But it's a new day, band I'm willing to bury the hatchet. I tend to believe you're a townie upon rereading the game. That last vote for hakuna after the runoff already went down to LD and Pfunk is the key to my change of heart here.. That, or you are mafia operating alone, not talking to your teammates, like you suggested that you've done in the past. But I'm going with the former here.
The fact that LD wants a runoff of you and me both strengthens my convictions of him. But after last round, i'm not convinced anyone is going to support me here. I'm very wary of Tejas. He has been as firm on his positions as an over cooked spaghetti noodle. He's been getting by with weak ass theory's and reasonings, when he's not just totally agreeing with someone else so he doesn't have to do the leg work. In my experience, Tejas is much more opinionated and stands his ground.
I'd like to see a runoff of LD Tejas and/or O'neil. Preferable the first 2

I kind of feel like you've posted just enough to not get called out for being too quiet but you haven't really been all that interested in figuring out who the mafia are. I think boner has been really vocal and although we've gone back and forth (and he has annoyed the hell out of me at times) I tend to read him as townie... still on the fence about that, but for now:

I was wrong about mike but realize that during the runoff. Honestly, can someone else explain to oneil why I think she is mafia. You continue to say it's baseless but ice explained, maybe you just don't get it.
Moving on.... Bringing it back to the surfbum whack once again now. Now that mike d is confirmed as good as townie, and really that was what was holding my early suspicion on him, it was a unique whack. I think it had to have been orchestrated by mafia "leader", basically a veteran. Which leaves LD and/or Jimmy. Honestly I think if we had a mafia team or say Boner, Texas, Ella they whack a big player early. Obviously if it is a case like this than props and extremely well played. I think LD is more likely or the 2 and if it is both I don't think we will get both anyways.
Which leaves the 3rd. I think it's gotta be Ella or tejas, most of you suspect tejas. I'd say this is the least beneficial route to take assuming we are down to out last chance to get a mafia but it's still a route i will not ignore.

so to clarify- you still think I'm mafia (the only reason you've ever given is that surfbum voted for me but whatever, let's agree to disagree on that point). you also think either LD or jimmy is mafia. and also that either ella or tejas is... so, basically you suspect everyone except boner.

In my opinion we still need a runoff and it would be beneficial to keep Roo in there. I would still like to see a minimum 3 person runoff, maybe even 4 if we are keeping Roo in the mix to vote him out and avoid the possibility of loosing an additional townie round 1. Right now we have Roo and Ella, to get at least one more in . . .
The votes for Surf were myself and Oniel, but hers was an original/recip vote. One little odd bit that I am not sure how I feel about yet is that Boner was also going to put a second vote on Surf, but took it off as I had posted a couple minutes before he did. With no votes or anything from Roo, that's one less set of votes we have to look at down the road and makes round 1 a little more useless.
I did notice that Surf played for a recip vote late in round 1. It could be a tactic to stay low and not raise suspicion, that was part of the reason why I considered throwing a second vote on him. I see it as a long shot that he was inspector with Oniel's name and she was left without a vote and hadn't voted, but not impossible.
Seems obvious to me that the mafia wanted to raise some suspicion primarily on me, less so to Oniel. I am glad to see some discussion a few angles, but honestly find it a little odd that Oniel got a vote this round for Surf initiating that recip vote in found 1, but I didn't and I was the one to put a second vote on him.
That's my thought's for now. Going to re-read this later and make a vote then. Also, can we get a tally on this page please?

AFTER my knee jerk reaction to pull my vote off after seeing your vote, It was stuck in my mind to have it as a 3 way runoff at that time. Maybe I shouldn't have been so quick to remove it, I dunno. Like I said, I was thinking 2 votes a piece for Roo Surf and Ella, leave room for a 4th maybe. Felt like being the 3rd on surf would have seemed like too much at that time
I agree with taking your vote off, leaving it at 2 votes. What I said was just thinking out loud about us both voting Surf, just seemed a little bizarre that we both picked him for a second vote. If my post would have been right after yours instead of before it, I likely would have changed too as I didn't see a reason to stack him to 3 either.
I am not really sure which way I want to go, but for now I am going to loosely base my vote off the names Surf had mentioned. Playing a numbers/odds game between O'niel and Pfunk, I would think Pfunk would more likely be mafia, partly due to my earlier post about the Surf/O'niel recip.
Considering Surf mentioned 3 names of folks who are alive, that leaves 6 players who could benefit from a "leave no trace" whack, which is very possible considering there were no real vote patterns in round 1. Would the mafia be more inclined to play a setup/clean whack due to the way round 1 turned out? I think that is the real debate we should consider.
Still trying to digest the past few pages, but as I caught up I am growing a tad suspicious of Jimmy. I really don't know if he isn't understanding what Boner was saying, if he was trying to see if he had more support to get Boner in the runoff, or what is really going on. Jimmy - to me it looks like you are making a stretch to disagree with Boner throughout the last page.
I still feel we need at least one of Oniel, Pfunk and myself due to the whack. Seeing Oniel's name come up much more than Pfunk is leading me to believe that she is more likely mafia between the two. If the mafia are fine with folks in the runoff, they are going to leave it alone, and Pfunk seems to be headed to the runoff without much disagreement. I am not sure how I feel with what Boner is doing by not voting for her with the suspicions he has. I am going to go switch my vote to her. I wouldn't mind seeing both Oniel and Jimmy in the runoff, I really don't know who else I would want in there if I had a choice.
Not just to Boner, everyone else too - I know there are a few different playing styles, but if you are a townie I would encourage you to vote for who you are more suspicious of. When you are a townie it can be nice to have your vote freed up in a runoff to vote for someone you are more suspicious of, but if/when you are killed off your voting record speaks louder than the rest of the words in your posts. Yes we need runoffs for some sort of voting records to look back on, but those who try to vote for someone just to keep things even can hurt us in the long run . . . that's at least my .02 about that.
To be honest Boner, I still don't fully understand why LD is in this position now. Your initial vote for him was to give minimal influence on the votes of Oniel, Pfunk and Ella, not as suspicion of LD himself. You got your wish and got 2 of them in the runoff. I am curious now if you are really suspicious of LD or feel you shouldn't have changed your vote because Oniel and Pfunk were both voting for LD with you. I know you don't agree with his playing style. Feel free to respond, but it's kind of a rhetorical question too. I will have time to look at this more in depth this evening and may find the answer myself, but right now that is the biggest thing I see that doesn't add up to me.

I guess what I see different than you about it is you have said there is more than enough on LD to be suspicious of, and I don't think so. Your point when you voted him was that he fits in with Oniel because they have voted for each other, giving them a chance to save each other. You have also stated that you don't agree with his playing style, he is a loose cannon, hard to read, and has fooled you before when he was a townie. Granted, these reasons can help support your reason for voting for someone, I just find it really odd you based this on how he fits in with Oniel yet you are keeping him in the runoff now instead of her.
