Yeah I'm already worried about conflicts. The Cure might be the only band getting an unopposed set, and if they give them a two hour set it might not even be completely unopposed.
Not a chance. I know I can count on to see Murder City Devils for me, so I will be okay.
Front and center. I saw where they were putting out a new album this fall and they had a "special announcement" coming. I'm guessing it's a full US tour.
I need to go to this. Can we all rent a house somewhere close and stuff 20 of us in there so it will be super cheap? I'm afraid of Chicago hotel prices during a festival...especially when i'll be solo.

Really good idea, but hard to coordinate.
It's totally doable. You'd just need someone that has the money that can front it to get the place. I used do it on another board I'm on all the time. If I had extra cash, I'd do it. Unfortunately, I'm broke and (apparently) putting out for chicojuarz.
What's the longest a headliner has gotten? It looks like they were all 75 minutes last year.
I guess what I'm saying is someone is getting dick punched if The Cure don't get two hours.
The 75 minute headliner sets last year were the longest they had ever given at Humboldt. That said, The Cure hate playing short sets, I don't see them getting less than two hours.
Has anyone done VIP? For the $80 price difference, I might give it a go. Is 12 drink tickets worth 12 drinks or like 2 because they are 6 tickets a piece?
12 drink tickets gets you 12 drinks. That alone makes it worth it IMO, although last year they gave you 15.
I realized last night that I've never actually listened to Cock Sparrer. I just always associated them with Oi! (and I hate Oi). I tried again and realized they have zero to do with that. They sounded more like if The Clash covered a Slade song.
I put it on my short list.

I still get a chuckle over the "French Onion Soup Incident" at FFFFest 2011. Word is he was quite upset that Slayer got to play the main stage and he didn't, could have been the catalyst for the whole thing. When Danzig called for a riot, all I could do was laugh. Everyone looked around like, "Is he fucking serious?".
I can't even tell you how disappointed my girlfriend was at that FFF 2011 show. She's a MASSIVE Misfits/Danzig fan, but more Misfits. That was the main reason for her even going to FFF that year. The Danzig Legacy set ended up playing nearly 2 whole Misfits songs due to the time constraint (so about 3 minutes worth). As the show ended, all you could hear around you was, "Fuck Danzig".
