This fest is rooted in punk, but they have expanded to other genres as well as the fest has grown.

I'm not quite sure what you are trying to imply. As with most fests there are VIP tickets and since there is no camping what hotel one chooses is up to their own budget. But thank you for taking the time to not answer the question.

It looks like the Denver fest will be held at Mile High Stadium: www.heyreverb.com/blog/2014/07/18/new-riot-fest-location/92086/. This will almost certainly mean no camping, since there isn't really anywhere to camp. At least this means I can bike to the fest rather than driving an hour each way.
