I have a mad hatter had I got for free when I worked as a vendor I'll be wearing. Picked up a funky looking jacket from goodwill for $4 and some glowsticks. Costume done.
FOUND MY COSTUME. I am SO making time to do this. I'm so excited now! Maybe I'll bring some candy and throw it at people.

My friend had a similar sentiment. "Make sure someone tripping doesn't mistake you for the real thing." Hmm... I'm starting to second guess this idea... haha

I don't think you need to worry about tripping people trying to open a human-pinata... I think the only thing you'd have to worry about is some candy-flipper wanting to feel the texture.

Just ordered my LED sword for my glow in he dark pirate costume!! I'm soo excited! I've never dressed up at roo and have always wanted to since my first year

So, I don't do costumes halfway. If a great idea hits, then I go all or nothing. So my idea (not exactly groundbreaking originality or anything) is Frank The Bunny from Donnie Darko. Only problem is, apparently "the" only costume (or picture of the costume) on the interwebs is a crappy knockoff. I can't even find a decent mask. I am going to a performance studio tomorrow to see if they maybe have a catalogue i can try to order something from. willing to spend a good bit of money on it. seriously, full moon, friday the 13th, you look to your left and Frank the Bunny is look back at you....
By day I'll be sporting a full on Hulk Hogan costume, by the power of the full moon I shall turn into a chicken. I wore the chicken costume to some edm show last Halloween and strangers kept petting me and I'm not sure if I liked it.
I think I just bought the dumbest "sew it yourself" bear costume at the thrift store for $2. Come to find out there's two of 'em! If my wife doesn't want it I'll be the extra to brunch!
It's just like a pull over head and shirt deal but too rediculous to leave on the rack. Pics may come later.
Just finished up my costume last night...neon rooster,consisting of a rooster head, red leather vest threaded with LED wiring, Jean shorts that are completely feathered, feathered shirt, and feathered arms made of cut up tights with feathers glued on...only took 6 hours haha

Pinhead Mask with plastic glow painted pins, a polka dot bathrobe, He Man boxers, and bunny slippers if it ain't to muddy.....I dunno, it just feels right

if it weren't tennessee in june I'd bring my sock monkey onesie, but as it IS tennessee in june I think we'll just have to see my roo run outfit twice this festival!
