Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I've never dressed up, outside of looking like a bandit with a handkerchief across my face to ward out the dust. Maybe this will be the year. It would be fun to go back to camp and at least get dressed up for Friday night.
Awesome idea. I've never worn a costume at Roo but I think I'll try to find one for that night... Just wondering if it'll be a warm and humid kinda night or cool and breezy....

I'm down for a costume party!
But this thread made me think of something. Native American Headdresses. I've seen far too many of them from pictures at coachella. I saw very few last year at bonnaroo, but it would be great to see none at all.

This isn't directed at anyone in particular, but please don't wear Native American headdresses. Or if you want to, at least do some research on its cultural significance. It's not a fashion accessory.

Can we all agree to just not do it. Even if you research it.

Something tells me that those who wear headdresses are not the people that navigate Inforoo.

Where else are they gonna to ask how strict the searches are?
Just give 'em the universal answer:
Rugrats had that crap on lock. If you need to ask, you're already screwing up. In all seriousness though, the idiots have flocked to Reddit with their litany of "Post about their personal list of felonies, and ask for advice on how to commit more, because cops can't use the internet, right?" type questions.

I take it you're not a redskins fan.
Slightly different issue.
Headdresses in most tribes were earned, and worn as part of ceremonial garb. Wearing one arbitrarily is the equivalent of dressing up in scrubs and blackface, then showing up at a hospital claiming to be a doctor. There's a whole long history of hollywood stereotypes and broken tribal agreements that flares up when a drunk frat bro at Coachella thinks he's cool for going around shirtless wearing an eagle-feather headdress. I have Sioux ancestry, and a small collection of family artifacts, but I'd never wear them to a festival.
