has anyone else besides KrissyJo tried to enter the Funkiest Dancer? When I call the number on Skype it just rings and then hangs up with no answer. I'm all dressed and ready to dance, have had a few nice glasses of Cab and an ear of corn and I'm ready to get funky, Bonnaroo! What the hell is the matter with you?
Seriously, has anyone else had problems entering? I get all of my information entered and then once it gets to the calling the Skype # part is where it goes flat. There was some thing where I had to ask them to add me to a contact list, and I requested that....
I've only used Skype twice before now and have never had problems, btw
It took me for ever to figure out. I was trying to do it on my ipad and had no luck at all but I figured it out on a laptop. And I wasn't sure how to really end it so I think mine turned out being shorter than it's supposed too. They ended up extending the deadline so I may try and submit another. I wonder if they extended it for any particular reason, maybe not nearly as many entries at they'd hoped for?

I mean, it was kind of a horrible concept to begin with. mainly due to the fact that it's taking up time on the what stage. i get it if it had been done inside an xbox tent or something, but to actually put it on the lineup and have it take up time on the main stage is kind of baffling.
EDIT: that kind of came off bad. i dont mean to degrade any inforoo'ers who have entered, you definitely have bigger balls than me if you'd be willing to get up on the What Stage and dance in front of thousands of people.
I wonder if you can submit more than one entry? I suppose you'd have to use another email address and Skype login?
I'm not even sure if my first one went through because I had so much trouble figuring it out. I sent one at first that was silent but only about 10 seconds long because I didn't realize that the music had to be open in another window.
They extended the deadline to April 15, but I don't think they explained the instructions very well.

Ya pretty much all the same problems I had. Make sure to check your email, they send a sort of confirmation email that you have to click something to verify and I guess officially submit.
seriously though, they probably haven't had a lot of entries because it's too tough to figure out how to do it. It's like an IQ test and dance contest all rolled into one. Like Fred Astaire mashed up with Stephen Hawking, ya know?
You can submit as many videos as you want but only one of them can get chosen for top 10. I wonder why they extended it? I guess they didn't see what they were hoping for. I need to check the rules to see if they updated the timeline cause they originally had the 15th as the day they post the top 10 and start the public voting.
