My big problem is how many awesome shows I missed out on because of ignorance. Not knowing I would love bands like My Morning Jacket and The Black Keys after listening to them I ended up missing some great shows.

MMJ is the only thing I regret missing on that schedule. Most of it isn't my cup of tea, which would explain the ample time for wandering & comedy
The % I'm sure of is camping out (without leaving for food/drink/bathroom breaks) at the What stage from ~2-11 with LIguy. Still not sure how we pulled that off, but it was worth it.

Hey, you could have went with me when I left to see MMJ, but you insisted in staying to watch Petty with Jason and Tara
God, that was the most cramped I had ever been waiting for a show!
My first Roo as well, thanks for the memories, itrainmonkeys ! I have learned so many valuable lessons since. I went to one (!) late night set then. Now, I gear up for those late nights.
I remember during moe. there being a ridiculous dance party in the what field behind the sound tower, with hula hoops and naked people. and it kicked up a giant dust storm as more and more people just joined in. it is one of my clearest memories from that 'roo. and scoffing at my friends little sister who said I should skip Umphrey's for some band called something something jacket.
I had assumed that Gillian Welch & Dave Rawlings and the dude from Super Furry Animals had performed that year since they had come out during the Bright Eyes set (with Jim James) but I guess not. Anybody know if they sat in with anybody else?
Also, I knew Zac Brown had been a Cafe artist but was surprised to see the Avette Bros there.
