Hey guys and gals of Inforoo,
We've been hard at work!
Tonight I'm happy to present something we've been working on recently that we've felt would be a great resource for fans of Bonnaroo from all years of the festival. It's been clear that there are times that people want to compare lineups or schedules or other details from different Bonnaroos and it's been pretty annoying to have to google up that info each time you are discussing it. I know I've had to do Google image searches and hope to find some blog or some screenshot where I can confirm something from a previous year and so we've decided to do somethng about it. Inforoo is one of the internet's best resources for Bonnaroo information and to keep that going we would like to present Inforoo Archive.
Nothing too fancy. Just a new sub-board section that will have in itself a sub-board for each year of Bonnaroo. In those sub-boards will be a sticky'd thread that has the Bonnaroo maps and schedules (and possibly other items) from that specific year. Also located in these sub-boards will be some of the more popular threads from that specific year for people to go back and see some old names or revisit the thoughts/feelings of a year they went in the past.
It's still a work in progress. As you can see, we have just four years filled in right now. 2006-2009 Bonnaroo are complete and we'll be working hard to get the rest of the years up very soon. I currently have the schedules/maps for 2005 and 2011-2013. I'm on the lookout for someone who has the 2010 map/schedule as well as the first few years, before 2005. If you have these items and can scan them please post here or PM me and help us out.
Post in this thread if there are any questions. You can post new threads in the archive section if you feel like discussing new things from old years. Let us know if there are any problems or suggestions with the new Inforoo Archive section.
- Ticket threads: displaying the ticket design for each year. - Lineup Poster threads: displaying official and artist-designed merch posters for the lineups for each year

I'm assuming all the Headliner Speculation threads will eventually be added to all these, right?
Yes, but in earlier years there wasn't as much organization/standard thread titles like we've been doing the past 5 or so years. So some of the main "headliner" threads are in the archive boards but not titled "Official Headliner Discussion/Speculation Thread" and things like that. Typically the ones with the most posts were the unofficial headliner discussion things.
But yea, previous years top threads will be moved into that section eventually. As of now I was really searching for threads that had that year in the title but I'll be doing more searching of old threads soon.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Thanks guys. As I mentioned in the first post I'm still on the hunt for a 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2010 schedule and map. I have someone who may have a 2010 one that we can use but I am definitely in need of the early years. Anyone who keeps souvenirs like me and can scan these please let us know
Question! Are the threads actually being archived aka being moved into this new subforum or are they otherwise going to linked/copied, etc.?
Currently they are being moved. It's mostly for inactive threads or ones that aren't used anymore. If someone started a thread for 2012 Roo but it's still getting posted in because they want that act on the farm each year then we aren't going to move that. Think about the Mars Volta thread that hung around for like 4 years until they were on the lineup. We wouldn't move that just because it was started for an older year.
Still thinking about how early to move threads. Obviously, it's not like we're going to move all 2014 threads the day after Roo this year. I'm going to be saving the 2012 and 2013 sections for last and we can figure out the details at that point as far as threads that shouldn't be moved or whatever.
I'd prefer the actual print copy like I was doing with the other ones just for consistency and to compare designs and junk but we can use this if nothing else comes up, thanks!
This is awesome! It'll save a lot of people a lot of time. I'd just like to mention that a lot of workplaces block imgur (not that I would know, because I would never go on Inforoo at work, of course), which renders this sub-board pretty useless since it seems like they're all hosted on imgur (though I might be wrong because admittedly I only looked at one thread so far). It's usually not a problem because most imgur links posted on the boards are just reaction gifs or whatnot, but if my boss asks me for a copy of the 2006 Roo schedule, I don't know if I'd be able to help him.
This is a great idea though, and will definitely be a helpful reference in creating future mocks.

Thanks for the tip. I was thinking of combining the images into a PDF so people could view it that way too. I'll definitely do that now just in case.
No dice. I have sports tickets that are over 10 years old and concert tickets that are approaching 8 years old and stuff from when I ran the 2010 Boston Marathon for charity, but I don't have the 2010 booklet anywhere. Bummer.
We should just set up like, a Google Account for each year of the festival and put the recordings in that account's Drive and make them available to anyone who has the link.
