I went to the first one and had a great time. I would love for the lineup to be similar to the previous one. Especially if they could get Ghostland to come out of hiding.

This! I NEED some GLO so very badly. Although if they do come out for this fest, I will be crushed because I doubt I can make it
Sooo not sold on this. All this is ok to me but it needs some more jamtronica and other such epic latenight type music to match previous years. I like raggae and all but it's not going to sell me on this fest. Last year STS9 and Girl talk were added on phase 2 and Eoto and Buckethead were added to phase 3 so there's still plenty of time and plenty of room to fill out this lineup. I'll probably be saving my money for hulaween or bear creek though
Yeah Laggy, I'm with you. The lineup isn't enough to get me up there. We'll see about additions. The competition from Bear Creek and Hulaween make it doubtful.

I agree and especially with Stoopid, Stephen Marley and G. Love touring together. They need to add some late night electronic so people can get a little wild at night. I was looking forward to the return of Blackwater, but this may end up being the last Blackwater if the lineup doesn't improve by a good bit. I wouldn't think that this lineup would sell a ton of tickets during one of the hottest months of the year.
Most of the line-up is not quite my thing, but I'd reallly love to see Gramatik, Michal Menert, and Zoogma. I'm thinking of volunteering since the only artists I REALLY care about are all after midnight, I'm guessing they could accommodate me. And it would be cool to spend a weekend at suwannee
They tell us "Rock'n'roll is the devil's music." Well, let's say we know that rock is the devil's music, and we know that it is, for sure … At least he fuckin' jams! If it's a choice between eternal Hell and good tunes, and eternal Heaven and New Kids on the fuckin' Block … I'm gonna be surfin' on the lake of fire, rockin' out.
Wow. First year had Flaming Lips, Girl Talk, EOTO...
This is the year they "tried something different" I guess?
Actually the first year had slightly stoopid, STS9, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Disco biscuits, JJ Grey and Mofro- still a much better lineup.
The fest has primarily been centered around raggae vibes and jamtronica vibes. This year they just leaned a bit more toward the raggae vibes. Still definitely weaker than previous years. I suspect they took a loss in 2011. The festival was epic but there did not seem to be that huge of a turnout. That would explain why it was gone for a few years. And this year they probably needed to scale back.

I actually like a lot of bands on this lineup and of course the location is perfect. I'm still up in the air but I could see making it a couple of days.

Yeah... I was thinking there was quite a few repeats. And I agree they're leaning toward reggae. I appreciated the acts I mentioned breaking it all up. Only time will tell...

Seriously considering volunteering if only to see Gramatik, Michal Menert and Zoogma latenights. It's only a 2.5 hr drive and I think I can swing it to be a low budget weekend. None of my friends are going though. Is anyone here going and wanna meet up to camp? I'll probably be doing my own thing most of the time but it would be nice to meet up with someone to have a few beers at home base with.
I'm seriously debating making the trip. I don't really have the money, but this might be my last chance to hit a festival for a while. The lineup is kind of meh, but it's at one of my favorite places.

Call me later I can probably get you a guest ticket.....
Edit Actually I just texted you that seems easier and to make more sense

Does this mean we won't see you at Bear Creek or Hulaween? This could be the first time in about 6 years, that we haven't gone to the same fest for the whole season.
Smoked a lot at music fest, slept by river from 4-6. Checked pockets, had keys but my leatherman and boss' car key was missing. Searched everywhere till 10. Said quck it and caught end of Marley and went to shows till 3. Phone was totally dead. Ran into 2 peeps by gate with car charger. Went to waffle house with them...totally awesome. Came back to parking and passed out around 5. Woke up at 7 and searched near car again..nothing...felt utterly defeated. Was on my way to check lost & found. Something shiny caught my eye, it was my leathermen...found key 20 feet from car Holy quak
