So me and my friends are planning on leaving between 11 PM and 12 AM on Wednesday night to drive from Charlotte, NC to Manchester. According to Mapquest, it's a 7 hour drive, so we figure, given rest stops and what not, that we will make it there right around the time they open the gates. I was just wondering, I know they turn people away if they are really early to the gates, but what is the earliest time they usually let people start lining up? I guess I'm just trying to get an idea of what to expect if we plan on getting there around the time the gates open.

From what I hear they'll let you in starting super-late wed. night/super-early thurs. morn, but as pigs said, you'll get stuck far away from Centeroo. I've found that getting in like around 9am-10am thurs. morn is the best bet for a good spot.
Last year we went in around 5pm wednesday night....they opened the gates and we were in the back.....the year before we arrived at 5 am thursday morning and were put back further then we were last year......I think if you leave and drive there and get in line you will be fine....no matter what, you will be there and let the partying begin, no matter where you are at
