Maybe you're a college football fan. So many stadiums don't even serve alcohol. What's that about; watching football without drinking?! That's almost criminal. Bring Palcohol in and enjoy the game.
Please keep this away from Tennessee Volunteers fans.
Let's talk about the elephant in the room....snorting Palcohol. Yes, you can snort it. And you'll get drunk almost instantly because the alcohol will be absorbed so quickly in your nose. Good idea? No. It will mess you up. Use Palcohol responsibly.

Anybody who thinks Tennessee not serving alcohol at games makes the fans any less drunk is kidding themselves.

Great, instead of a flask you get to sneak in a bag of white powder. Have fun with that.
According to USA Today and the Palcohol website: "Let's talk about the elephant in the room … snorting Palcohol. Yes, you can snort it. And you'll get drunk almost instantly. ... Good idea? No. It will mess you up."

All I read was "Good idea it will mess you up".
I mean, when I drink bourbon, im not doing it to stay sober.
Bummer it won't be available this year. However, there's always next year. This is going to give security a fit.

Like this: Good idea!!! It will MESS you UP!
So what is this stuff exactly, and how has it not been banned if you can even snort it? Is it just ethanol somehow encapsulated in something, or is it actually something else? If an when this stuff hits liquor stores, how long do ya'll give it until states start banning it? Seems like a great idea for people who want to sneak alcohol into various places, and a horrible idea from a public safety perspective. There was nothing illegal about all the caffeinated alco-pops (Four Loko, Sparks, etc.), but they were extra dangerous when abused so a bunch of state attorneys general pressured the makers to take the caffeine out, without passing any laws. I can see something similar happening pretty quickly with Palcohol, too.
I also wonder where these would be sold in states that sell different types of alcohol different ways. If it is to be sold like beer, that means you'd find Palcohol in grocery stores, liquor stores, convenience stores, and damn near every gas station in Ohio. If it is to be sold like liquor, then it would be in very few outlets which are more heavily regulated. Since every state handles alcohol differently it will be interesting to see how powdered alcohol gets classified, and whether it will even be available in every state. This junk seems so weird to me that it is blowing my mind.
Hmm, I wonder if this is already available online, like the so-called "research chemicals" that are not explicitly illegal and in a major gray area but will get you crazy messed up. And can it be or has it been patented?
And the big alcohol companies aren't exactly going to welcome Palcohol into their market with open arms, and their lobbyists throw a lot of money around. It could kill the over-priced drink market at festivals, concerts, and sports venues of every sort, and lead to a lot of drunk people in places where there is normally no alcohol. The more I think about it, the less I like it, but of course I'll try it as soon as I see it.
Saw today where the ATF didnt pass it. apparently no more powder alcohol.
Wow, i wonder if that means it is dead in the water or if there is a process to get it approved still. Of course the ATF probably freaked out over the whole concept, but they don't always get their way. This is interesting to me so I'll see what other info I can dig up and report back if I find anything. I geek on the legal implications of getting fucked up.
