Thursday: Rudimental > Robert Delong > nothing > Real Estate > Break Science > nothing for a long time > Ty Segall
Friday: chill at camp until 2 pm > Dr. Dog > Umphreys McGee > nothing > Cry for an hour or so because its fucking stupid that I have to choose between CHRVCHES, NMH, Phoenix, and VW > Choose one of the 4 > Kanye > Cry midset because I know I have to decide between watching all of Kanye or getting a decent spot for Disclosure > Disclosure > Die Antwoord
Saturday Wake up upset that I didnt get to see Skrillex, Ice Cube, Mastodon, and 3 out of the 4 that conflicted before Kanye > Drink > Maybe watch Clasixx > wander around > watch a little of Tedeschi Trucks Band > Cake > cry because I have to choose between Grouplove, Damon Albarn, and Cage the Elephant > wind up at one of the 3 > chill in the back of Chromeo for a bit > watch a half hour of Lionel > cry because I have to choose between Lauryn Hill and Cut Copy > wind up at one of the 2 > Jack White from the back > Skrillex Superjam > Darkside
Sunday Mutter to myself about how fucking bullshit this schedule was put together, and how whoever came up with it can rot in hell > Do pretty much nothing all day and complain about how all the awesome acts that conflicted could have just been playing right then > Arctic Monkeys > Broken Bells > Elton John

Here is my tentative schedule right now. Some conflict are pretty brutal. Also I started at the beginning of the day and I know I wont go out that early but if I made my schedule as if I had unlimited energy.
Thursday: Rudimental > ZZ Ward > Ms Mr > Cherub > Banks> Pusha T
Friday: Greensky Bluegrass > Big Sam’s Funky Nation/Sam Smith > Umphreys McGee > Danny Brown > Janelle Monae/The Head and The Heart > NMH/Vampire Weekend/Phoenix > Kanye > Superjam ?/ Disclosure > Die Antwood/Skrillex
Saturday: Seasick Steve > First Aid Kit > Cake > Cage the Elephant/Grouplove > Chromeo > Ms. Lauryn Hill > Jack White > Skrillex Superjam/Frank Ocean > Glitch Mob > Zedd
Sunday: Yonder Mountain String Band > Fitz and the Tantrums > Broken Bells > Avett Brothers > Amos Lee > Elton
Conflicts: 1. Superjam ? vs Disclosue 2. Skrillex Superjam vs Frank Ocean 3. Rudimental being so damn early 4. NMH/Vampire Weekend/Phoenix * I think NMH hotel wins but I have seen all and all are good…. 5. Janelle Monae vs The Head and the Heart 6. Cage the Elephant vs Grouplove 7. Big Sam vs Sam Smith 8. Die Antwood vs Skrillex
I did a clashfinder with my must's (green), would-like-to's (purple), and if-it-fits'(blue). Pretty much everything that's not green is up in the air.
With that said, I think this will work for me. Underlined acts are non-negotiable. Everything else is subject to change if someone convinces me to do something else.
Thursday Robert DeLong>ZZ Ward>Thao and the Get Down Stay Down>Omar Souleyman>Ty Segall
Friday Sam Smith>Dakha-Brakha/Umphreys McGee>Janelle Monae>Vampire Weekend>Neutral Milk Hotel>Naptime/Kanye - BIG maybe>Superjam/Disclosure>Skrillex/Die Antwoord

God I fucking hate this schedule.
Not to be helpful or anything, but you could pretty much see both Vampire Weekend and Phoenix, minus a song or two from one of them. Especially if Vampire Weekend ends a minute or two early and Phoenix were to start a minute or two late. You could knock out two of the four there at least.
Trying to decide if I want to do rail for Kanye...does anyone know if we're getting the Yeezus tour setup? I remember AC saying in the AMA he did that the What Stage could accommodate the production.
Thursday Rudimental > Robert DeLong or Parade of Lights > MS MR > Cherub > J Roddy
Friday The Naked and Famous > CHVRCHES > Phoenix or pit line for Kanye > Kanye West > Disclosure > Skrillex
Saturday Haerts (depending on the heat) > Cake > Damon Albarn or Grouplove (depends on Damon's setlist) > Chromeo > Lauryn Hill for a little bit > Cut/Copy > Jack White > Skrillex Superjam > Zedd > Kaskade (hopefully he goes late)
Sunday Capital Cities > Fitz and the Tantrums > Arctic Monkeys > Little Dragon > Elton John

Thursday Rudimental > Robert Delong (Or waiting for tickets to Hannibal Buress) > Caveman > MS MR (Or Hannibal Buress) > Break Science > Banks > J. Roddy Walston and the Business
Friday St. Paul > Seun Kuti > Umphreys > Janelle Monae > Vampire Weekend > Kanye > Superjam ? > Chance the Rapper > See if Skrillex is still playing I'm trying to decide if I'm going to just camp out on What all day after Seun Kuti or if I should try and do pit for Kanye. If I try and get in line after Kuti do I have a shot for pit? I've never tried to get into pit for a headliner before.
Saturday High and Mighty Brass Band > King Kahn > Kevin Devine > Cake > Bouncing Souls > Chromeo > End of Lionel Richie > Jack White > Leave early for Frank Ocean > Darkside (But it will probably be packed, I just have no desire to see glitch mob.)
Sunday Lake Street Drive > Capital Cities > Artic Monkeys > Avett Brothers > Sir Elton John
Although, I have a feeling I wont actually make it out to centeroo till Kevin Devine on Saturday and Capital Cities on Sunday due to how long Friday and Saturday Night will be.
Fri Greensky Bluegrass (maybe... might not want to start baking in the sun that early) > Big Sam's Funky Nation > Umprheys> Hopefully the end of Danny Brown > Naked and Famous > End of Andrew Bird to get a spot for > Neutral Milk Hotel Kanye > Mastodon / Ice Cube > Die Antwoord > Hopefully end of Skrillex
Sat High and Mighty Brass Band > Seasick Steve > Tedeschi Trucks / Cake > Damon Albarn / Cage the Elephant > Chromeo (or nap for Jack and late nights) Jack White> Flaming Lips > Darkside. Hopefully a snippet of Glitch Mob somehow. Maybe rage to some Zedd if he plays late and I have energy left.
Sun Yonder Mountain String Band / Goat > Arctic Monkeys > Broken Bells > Bluegrass Superjam > Sir John

Thursday
Johnathon Wilson > ZZ Ward > Thao and the get down stay down > Cloud Nothings > Banks > Pusha T > Ty Segall
Friday Dr Dog > either umphreys or Jake Bugg > Janelle Mone > NMH > Kanye > Superjam ? > Die Antwoord
regarding the NMH/Phoenix/VW conflict: i checked neutral milk hotel's setlists and they play a majority of the songs i want to hear in the beginning/middle of their set. im planning on leaving by 9 which should give me time to get a decent spot for kanye. i have seen VW before and was only considering choosing them because of that
Saturday Seasick Steve > First Aid Kit > Cake > Damon Albarn > Chromeo > Lionel Richie > Jack White > Either Skrillex Superjam or Flaming Lips > Darkside
i honestly cannot decide between the Skrillex Superjam and Flaming Lips, i have never seen FL and know it will be amazing. but i feel like i cant miss the superjam.

Friday Dr. dog > (partial) Umphrey's McGee/ Danny Brown > Jake Bugg > The Head and The Heart > Neutral Milk Hotel > (maybe the end of) Pheonix > Campsite/Kanye > a superjam ? > Die Antwoord > Chance the Rapper > (hopefully) Skrillex

Sunday Easiest day everrrr... Camp at What all day (but those other stages are absolutely brutal) because decided we would rather be pit for Sir Elton and not miss ANY of Arctic Monkeys or The Avett Brothers than catch part of one of those other sets and I'm catching Amos Lee at Hangout.
Conflicts Umphrey vs. Danny Brown- probs Umphrey's but I kinda want more rap Camp vs. Kanye-will depend on how far away camp is James Blake vs. waiting for pit for Jack White- I have never done pit at Roo, mush less a HL

I just love the logic behind music festivals in general. Phoenix and Cut Copy closing the which before two awesome headliners. Those two are big time in my top 6-7 but Kanye and Jack are enough above them to where I probably will skip for a good spot. Don't put the flaming lips in your ad if frank ocean and nick cave are going to be playing at the same time. I mean, really? Isnt that 3 top 15 names going at once? Just fuck it, imo the first 9 names should all be seeable in full. 3 headliners, 3 subs, 3 late night which. Phoenix against the vampire and kanye waiting? Phoenix isnt even on the lineup for me anymore. God im so drunk
Phoenix against the vampire and kanye waiting? Phoenix isnt even on the lineup for me anymore. God im so drunk
I thought the exact same thing when I saw that. Especially with nothing conflicting with Janelle Monae for me so I'll be chillen at What pretty much all day.
Thursday: The Preatures > explore > MS MR > Cherub > Polica > White Denim > Ty Segall
Friday: Extended brunch > explore > Seun Kuti > Umphrey's McGee > Janelle Monae > A Tribe Called Red > Neutral Milk Hotel > Phoenix (1/2) > Kanye West > Superjam > Chance the Rapper
Saturday: Classixx > explore > Bobby Womack > Damon Albarn > Chromeo > Lauryn Hill > Jack White > Nick Cave > Darkside
Sunday: Vance Joy > Goat > Warpaint > Washed Out > Avett Bros. > Elton John
Worst conflicts:
Nick Cave vs. Flaming Lips Lauryn Hill vs. Cut Copy Janelle Monae vs. The Naked and Famous A Tribe Called Red vs. Churches
I don't suppose they posted the comedy / cafe times? That could change things.
