They were supported by blogger as well as popular artists such as Last Dinosaur and Django Django. The band's single, "Heart Of a Lion," reached #12 on the We Are Hunted emerging artists list, a popular and well-trusted source for discovering new artists that was recently acquired by Twitter. The track created a large buzz in the Netherlands, where it reached #3 in radio airplay and was an iTunes single of the week. The Griswolds started to gain a lot of momentum 4 months into their career when the band became the Triplej Unearthed feature artist when they won a slot on the 2012 Parklife festival line-up alongside Passion Pit and The Presets. The EP of the same name, released in 2012, has received positive reviews from many popular blogs and music sites, and jump-started their touring career. After success touring in their native Australia, the band made their first live appearance in New York City on May 11, 2013 at Brooklyn Bowl. Personal Notes The Griswolds' sound is nothing new, but is a sound indie pop bands have been producing for years. However, that doesn't make it any less enjoyable to listen to. Definitely a great schedule-gap filler, but not a conflict-breaker. I expect a chill concert from them. Nothing too rowdy.

Agree with that assessment. I like their EP. Nothing mindblowing, but fun if I'm near their stage for sure.
