Biography: The Lone Bellow is a three piece folk band out of Brooklyn, New York. The band began after a project Zach Williams started after his wife suffered temporary paralysis following a horseback riding accident. The band put out its self titled debut on January 22, 2013 and began to gain buzz based on exposure from NPR's All Songs Considered. The band has since gained much notoriety from their live performances and was considered one of the break out bands at the 2013 Newport Folk Festival (Wikipedia).

This band puts on one of the best live shows I have ever seen. The debut album is great, but when the band hits the stage they become something entirely different. The lead singer Zach is incredibly energetic and charismatic. When they dial it back and hit the harmonies, it is incredible. They also are able to rock out and each musician is incredibly talented (both singing and playing). After seeing them once, The Lone Bellow has become one of the bands that I will not miss when given the chance to see them.
Interesting Fact The band filmed portions of their music video for Green Eyes and a Heart of Gold in Opelika, Alabama. If you look closely you can see myself jumping around and making a fool of myself. An awesome moment none-the-less.
