I love it when artists play second or third, more intimate sets on the Sonic Stage,in the Ford Lounge, or any other smaller venues. Mac DeMarco was great last year, Rubblebucket slayed the Solar Stage, and Sister Sparrow's two small sets were favorites of 2012 for me. Now, with one of my most highly anticipated sets finding some competition, I started thinking about how that conflict could be resolved, and I realized that I don't think there's a thread for stuff like this yet. So... My Wishlist:
(1) Damon Albarn (2) Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds (3) King Khan & His Shrines (4) Ty Segall (5) Ms Lauryn Hill (6) Darkside (7) Kanye (8) Janelle Monae (9) Goat (10) Meshuggah.
I loved the Sonic Stage and so some awesome shows their last year such as ALO, Trombone Shorty, the Futurebirds, and the Revivalist. I am hoping it will be able to relieve some of my conflicts this year. My first choice would be The Bouncing Souls, but would also like to see Allah-La's, Caveman, J Roddy and the Business and AM & Shawn Lee.

Does he tour with Ty Segall's band? As in, should I expect to see him play with Ty Segall on Thursday.
I thought he was doing his own thing now. But if there's even a remote chance he'll be on the farm then I just got way more excited.
I had the same concern, but he was playing bass still at Coachella, so I wouldn't see why he wouldn't be at Roo too. Emily plays drums for both him and Ty Segall, so that's like half the band already there at least.

This was pretty much my favorite stage last year! I saw Trombone Shorty, aoife o'donovan, and another band, it was just intimate and awesome! Lake Street Dive would be a good candidate this year.
