Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Last year I printed out the Google Drive version of this, highlighted the acts I was interested in, and laminated each day separately. So awesome to have in Centeroo, much much better than the app or fumbling with the guide book.
please tell me what is more honest than my feelings on these bands.
what are there shows like? have you seen them live? if so, where? if you think they suck, that's really not helpful to anybody, just sayin
if i had only said "skrillex is great, go see him" would you have had a problem? it wouldnt have been any more helpful than saying he sucks but for some reason i doubt you would have cared.
This Juggs/Fox thing is so dumb. He's not Juggernaut. If it was, he's obviously adopting a completely different persona and doesn't want to continue to be called juggs so quit harassing the dude.
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.

These LN schedules are killing me. Killing me because I will not be able to clearly decide which shows I hit. I guess I'll just follow the path of least resistance and end up wherever the crowd is smallest.
Still hate that Mastodon starts during Kanye, but I understand the logic behind the scheduling.
1. who cares 2. whistling versus banjos 3. go see mastodon, disclosure is going to be packed to the point where it wont be fun. 4. ive never seen meshuggah, but id go with chance. definitely stay away from skrillex and die antwoord as they both suck 5. bobby womack, easy choice. 6. darkside, another easy choice. 7. broken bells, even easier.
I think he was asking for honest input, not how do you feel about these bands.
Ugh my major conflict is completely a cluster of personal things -- one of my top acts to see is Damon Albarn. One of my daughter's is Grouplove. And yet, the dinner tickets I bought so our three-generation group could all have a nice farm-to-table dinner are for the exact same time as BOTH of those shows. *SHAKES FIST*
I would cancel the dinner!! You can have dinner with your family any time! Then you go see Damon Albarn, and have your parents take the little one to Grouplove. Solved!
Glad I knocked out a bunch of these conflicts ahead of time, cause this schedule is loaded with conflicts. I'm very happy with it though, since I get to see all of my must-see acts.
My conflicts (that I don't know how I'm solving): 1. Umphreys vs. Ben Howard vs. Jake Bugg (seen Umph three times already, but I'm not as familiar with the other two artists) 2. Andrew Bird vs. The Head and the Heart (I know they're acclaimed, but know nothing about them) 3. Disclosure vs. Mastodon vs. Ice Cube (seen Disclosure but they'll probably bring out Sam Smith, seen Mastodon but I'd love to see a metal LN, never seen Ice Cube but not that familiar with his stuff) 4. Skrillex vs. Die Antwoord vs. Chance vs. Meshuggah (I've actually seen all four, but ALL of them were great and would make great LN sets) 5. Cake vs. Bobby Womack (seen Cake, but not them doing their hits. Womack isn't common to see but I don't know his material) 6. Kaskade vs. Darkside (missed out on past 3 chances to see Kaskade, but never even had one for DS. I'm not super familiar with each either) 7. Avett Brothers vs. Broken Bells/Bluegrass Sitch (I like the Avetts more than last time I saw em, but could also watch the entire sets of the other two if I skip em)
If anyone wants to help me decide on these, that'd be great. I have more conflicts than that, I just know where I'll end up. As of now, my schedule is looking like:
Thursday: Robert Delong>ZZ Ward>Thao>Monster Truck>Cherub>Banks>Hunter Hunted>White Denim/Pusha T>Ty Segall Friday: Greensky Bluegrass>Vintage Trouble>Sam Smith>Umphrey's>Jake Bugg>Janelle Monae>Andrew Bird>NMH>Kanye>a little bit of each>Skrillex Saturday: Classixx>Seasick Steve>Kevin Devine>Tedeschi Trucks>Cake>Bouncing Souls>Damon Albarn>James Blake>Lauryn Hill/Cut Copy>Jack White>Frank Ocean>Kaskade Sunday: Lake Street Drive>Capital Cities>Arctic Monkeys>Broken Bells>Bluegrass Sitch>Elton John
Go see Umphrey's again, there's nothing like an Umphrey's show, especially at Roo.
this man speaks the truth. Don't miss an umph set at roo. Just don't do it. Plus this being their first time on the big stage, I'm thinkin they will be bringin the heat!

So much better. Some years people have made mini schedules that are small enough to fit in those plastic ID badge holder things that you can buy cheap at staples. Even easier to keep in your pocket. Print out four of them and just bring one with you to Centeroo each day.

Seeing the Flaming Lips multiple times in the past and reading all the garbage with them firing the drummer for voicing his concerns makes missing them a little bit easier. Now it's looking like Nick Cave .vs. Frank Ocean for me....that's a tougher one.
Idk if I wanta sit through Cage The Elephant to have a good spot for Chromeo/Cut Copy, or if i wanta risk it and check out Damon's set first. You think I can get a good spot for Chromeo showing up 30min before they start?
This was my problem but I can't miss Damon for cage the elephant. I would never forgive myself for that.

Check and mate there lol. I just thought it was funny, I guess I'm more opposed to people saying these guys suck or that guy sucks, its all about personal taste. You're just a fun bear to poke my friend
Not sure what I should do for the second row of artists on Sunday. Debating between Goat, Okkervil River, and Yonder Mountain string Band. Recommendations?

I don't even like Cage The Elephant, I'm just expecting that that crowd isn't gunna move after their set, and I wanta be as close as possible for Chromeo/ Cut Copy

normally I would recommend yonder in a heartbeat, but not sure what their set will be like now that Jeff Austin is no longer with them...
I just realized that some of the morning Cinema stuff isn't on the excel sheet. I pulled it straight from the schedule, but I'm going to go back and add in the early morning Cinema so it's accurate.
The only conflict I'm still torn about is VW+Phoenix vs a good spot for NMH. I can see NMH when they come to Philly in August, but Philly is not Roo, and I'd rather not spend more money if I can help it. My biggest problem is that VW and Phoenix are still on my Roo playlist, and I keep liking them more and more.

Honest opinion: I'd do Vampire Weekend/Phoenix. 2 for one, and I can see NMH benefitting from an indoor space. I know Jeff Mangum did when I saw him solo. Their tent at Bonnaroo is going to be packed.
