Anyone want to make the Preatures / Wild Feathers decision for me? Nothing like having a rough conflict off the bat. I expect one or both to have another set somewhere, so hopefully that works itself out.
Wild Feathers
Preatures, but I'll confirm the Saturday before Roo. They're in Toronto that day.

I know they don't usually put a big act on late night Thursday, but I feel like Darkside would've fit well to coincide with Ty Segall. I mean, seriously.. Saturday night is packed! Glitch Mob, Zedd, Darkside, AND Kaskade?! All going on like 15 mins apart from each other..
Which one of these late night acts on Saturday night do you think will go all night? Doubt it'll be Darkside.. but then again Nicholas Jaar has a lot of material, but doubt he'll play any of it.
The split between Disclosure/Superjam is a one or the other, to be determined when they announced the Superjam.
Fair enough.
I agree, but Disclosure is going to kill it. One of the main acts I'm looking forward to. Skrillex Superjam will be fun no doubt, but I'm not passing up Disclosure on the farm. Their album is one of the best dance albums to come out in a long time..

Flips VS Nick Cave Cloud Nothings VS Cherub VS Break Science (don't know nothing about any of 'em) Ice Cube VS Mastadon VS Superjam Carolina Chocolate Drops VS Lucero Avett Brothers vs Bluegrass Superjam

It takes me a lot.....a lot, a lot to get me excited for new electronic music. I know what I like and now that I'm thirty I can say that I've spend half of my life fine tuning my ears. I adore the fact that I have some local friends that will play me lullabies regularly.
That being said. If I was on the farm on Friday night, I'd be doing a fine little shimmy to Disclosure.
Edit*because I'm a snob* If it were up to me I wouldn't be seeing any of these acts if I had.....say....the Movement lineup to look forward to.

Haha I feel ya.. I'm picky when it comes to my electronic music, or any music in general. That's why I'll be at Darkside & Disclosure! Go see Bonobo at Movement! another artist on my Bonnaroo wishlist..

Help?
Flaming Lips I'd split up Cloud Nothings set with Break Science.. Break Science is on Pretty Lights' label. They're gonna blow some minds at Roo this year.. Again, I'd split Mastodon and the Superjam. Lucero Avett Brothers
Thing about Bonnaroo and their conflicts.. unless you can be ok with yourself not going to a particular show.. it's better to split up some sets rather than miss it all together. At least, that's my opinion on the conflicts. Trust me, I know.. it sucks having an eclectic musical taste at Bonnaroo hahah!

This is not normally the kind of music I get behind. But BreakScience is really good at what they do. They are perfect for an amped up festival setting.

Someone mentioned in the Mystery Superjam thread that 'hopes and dreams' may be a hint and it's a Wiz Khalifa song. That thread doesn't get much action so I'm interested to hear what you guys think of that hypothesis.
I'm hoping Wiz is getting involved in the Skrillex superjam and the Mystery Superjam is still open. Wiz plays sunday anyways so that would probably make more sense logistically... right?

Don't miss Break Science. They killed it at CounterPoint. So much energy in their performance.

I'm actually a little bit surprised at their Thursday slot.

I feel like Thursday is perfect. Really kicks into the weekend when the first lasers come out! Lol mimosa played the spot a couple years ago and it was great

I really wish they didn't overlap with Cloud Nothings
I would say it doesn't matter, because it's Thursday and it easy to roam about between the Tents. But, in the past couple years, this isn't the case. From what I've witnessed, Thursday is the rowdiest of the four. Everyones proverbially kicking the dirt up behind their feet, waiting for the "GO" gun. If you look closely you can pinpoint the ones that will be sleeping during the Saturday headliner.
Back to my original point....If you want to see two Thursday overlapping acts....hang back from the crowd a little, so as to make a swift exit.

Yeah last year Japandroids/Alt-J was a pain to get front row for

Yes. Please no Wiz quacking up the Mystery Superjam.

Alt-J was craziness. Seriously. it was my first taste of the size of bonaroo crowds would be like. last year was my first roo and i was blown away by the size of the thursday crowds.

Yeah luckily the Japandroids crowd was so rowdy that it was easy to slip through to the rail. Alt-J though man, probably my favorite show from last year.

Alt-J was a must see for me, but I couldn't even make it through the whole thing, I was so claustrophobic in that crowd. And it's never bothered me like that before. I couldn't get out to save my life!

Alt-J was awesome - there was this obnoxious kid next to me who looked exactly like Samm Levine from Freaks and Geeks who wouldn't shut up though. He was hitting on his friend and she was just not about that.
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
