Do we expect to know what the Superjam ? is going to be or are they keeping it a surprise like old school?
I really hope they tell us. Though I don't think I'll be able to get there in time to get a rail spot like I've done the past couple of years. If they keep it a mystery and it ends up being a Jeff Tweedy-led Superjam of Neil Young covers i'll be pissed that I didn't get front row. I like knowing at least a tiny bit (or who will be leading it).

Last year about 75% of the setlist was revealed as well. Made a playlist of those songs at played them at a neighbors camp and convinced them to go. They were happy I did just like everyone else who went.
Yea, I remember holding off for as long as I could from reading the interview where the songs were mentioned.

Thursday: The Preatures -> MS MR -> Break Science -> Poliça -> White Denim Friday: Umphrey's McGee -> Janelle Monáe -> Phoenix -> Kanye -> Superjam Saturday: Classixx -> First Aid Kit -> Damon Albarn -> Chromeo -> Cut Copy -> Jack White -> Flaming Lips (seeing cave elsewhere) -> Darkside Sunday: Vance Joy -> Goat -> Warpaint -> Broken Bells -> Elton John
All in all I'm pretty upset with the schedule. Friday is super sparse for me and Saturday has bands on all 5 stages I want to see nearly all day. I also really want to see Pheonix and Cut Copy so that means I will get terrible spots for the headliners. No real problems with Thursday or Sunday though. Saturday does end up being one of the best days of music I can think of...

Do you guys think there's any chance Earl could show up for Super Rich Kids at Franks set? He's in New York the week before with no shows during Bonnaroo.
I'll just apologize in advance if this is a stupid question, so, sorry.

There's always a chance, but typically if you go into the weekend expecting specific surprise guests and collabs, you're going to be disappointed.

Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.

This will be the 1st year I am checking out 3 acts at The Miller Light stage: Monster Truck, Parade of Lights, Animals as Leaders (Monster Truck should be at Cafe Where & Animals As Leaders should be in a damn tent!)

THURSDAY: The Wild Feathers > Robert DeLong > Caveman(Beer) > MS MR > Cloud Nothings > Cherub > Banks > Polica > Pusha T > Ty Segall
FRIDAY: St. Paul & The Broken Bones > Sam Smith > Danny Brown > The Naked and Famous > Classixx > Phoenix > Kanye West > Disclosure/Superjam > Deafheaven > Skrillex/Die Antwoord
SATUDAY: Classixx > King Khan > First Aid Kit > Typhoon > Beer > Cage The Elephant > Phosphorescent > James Blake/Chromeo > Cut Copy > Jack White > Flips/Frank Ocean/Skrillex Superjam > Darkside SUNDAY: Those Darlins > GOAT > Warpaint > Arctic Monkeys > Broken Bells > Little Dragon > Elton John
These LN schedules are killing me. Killing me because I will not be able to clearly decide which shows I hit. I guess I'll just follow the path of least resistance and end up wherever the crowd is smallest.
Seeing the Flaming Lips multiple times in the past and reading all the garbage with them firing the drummer for voicing his concerns makes missing them a little bit easier. Now it's looking like Nick Cave .vs. Frank Ocean for me....that's a tougher one.
Nick Cave. Frank will be back but this is prolly a 1 shot for Nick

My biggest complaints are as follows: Monster Truck and Animals As Leaders on Miller Light Stage (Makes NO SENSE) ZZ Ward will be so beyond packed on Thursday, VM/NMH/CHVRCHES, and Umph's & Cake getting a daytime spot.

Phi, i woulda thought you were a lock for the skrillex superjam. Not convinced?

I'm not a fan of Umphrey's getting a tiny daytime spot with absolutely no wiggle room. They are perfect for late night because they have the interest and the talent to play for 5-6 hours.

I'm completely with you about the no wiggle room thing, but looking on the bright side it will be cool to see them playing the what. Plus I'm really banking on some UM involvement in the superjam. That is probably the only thing that could tear me away from mastodon. Mastodon is going to kick so much ass!!

I guess. I mean. Look at how far they've come and all that jazz. Still I like to reserve my festival nights for the weird and unruly. That's why things like Frank Ocean remain a head scratcher. Hasn't this been a good year for him popularity wise? I think if the two would switch, it would be better for everyone.

shit I agree completely. I'm just trying to look at the bright side here. Umph would really have mixed LN up quite well, especially on Saturday during all that edm. I will still have a great time dancing my ass of somewhere, but dancing my ass off to ump would be better lol

Yea I'm going to try to get pit for flips. Not sure after that. I will probably end up wandering around, randomly dancing through centeroo. Puts a smile on my face just thinking about it!!
