Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Third time Roo'r coming down from NYC checking in to see if there is any sort of gay community at Bonnaroo? I tried this same post last year, and didn't have much success. No, I am not trying to create *Grindr-oo (I know, I rolled my eyes too). I'm just wondering if there is any community, or any meetup that ever takes place? and if there isn't, then lets change that immediately!
Gay or not, I am totally interested in meeting new people- so contact me!! I'd love to connect with more people. This festival is about so much more than the music, there is absolutely a spirit of Roo that I come back for, and I'd love to have new people to chill with!
There's pretty much a gay community post on here every year... though I still don't get why people feel the need to segregate themselves at Bonnaroo, one of the most diverse and accepting places on Earth...

It's not segregation- I'm not planning on marching in a rainbow flag outfit- I'm just trying to meet some other lovely likeminded vagabonds
No intense seriousness intended by this or any other of my posts!
But in short, yes, there is sometimes a gay pseudo-meetup; a couple years ago it was Big Freedia - I'm not sure if anything's happening this year though.

Thanks Jaz! Gonna lock this one up so the discussion can move to the other thread
