I enjoyed them live quite a bit. The lead singer lacks enthusiasm when she sings, but it was still a great show. When Martin Doherety sang he went absolutely crazy! It was awesome. You could not sit still watching him dance on stage. I will be missing them for Vampire Weekend though. It was one of my tougher conflicts.

Agree with @savannabanna87.. When we saw them it was a great show.. But when Martin Doherety sang it was the highlight of the entire show and it was SO GOOD.

Drove from Florida to NC to see them, camped out all day and when word got around somehow about the two crazy girls who drove 600 miles, Chvrches invited us in for sound check and meet & greet. So not only did we get to throw down in the front row, but we got all of that too. They were INCREDIBLE live and they gave my friend a signed setlist because it was her birthday. All around amazing band, as performers and as people.

We just got a new car that came with 4 months of free Sirius, and they have been playing a new live set from these guys all weekend on Sirius XMU, New Indie Rock station. The banter between songs is pretty entertaining, as is the set. Promoting Every Open Eye.
