Ambitious. Unrealistic imo for first timers...but ambitious
I attempted to do this first day and failed horribly. Make sure you take a solid break in the shade either under a tree or back at camp. I'd rather miss part of a set during the day then be wiped out for the late night shows. It all depends on who you want to see, really.
1. Skip the hotel and bring your tent. Save the hassle of finding one plus you can do a test run of putting it up. I have done tent city and yes way expensive but for ease helps. Plus you are closer to centeroo. 2. The best sets are after 4pm, so use the 11-4 time to get your nap on in centeroo (cinema tent, state farm tent, bud light lounge are some sweet spots). 3. As for food there are lots of healthier options. I saw a salad station, the smoothie guy, food truck oasis and also find the Caribbean place that serves rice and beans (yumm and bigger servings so u can share and save money). 4. Lots of porta potties but bring wet wipes and tp with u just in case. Showers are around $8 as told prior but a quick wash in the sinks are way refreshing and free.
Haha it kind of does. They didn't research as much as they should have. How long is the walk to Centeroo from the camping area? Is te day parking easy or will they has to wait hours to get a parking spot of they go that route?
Is there any other tips you can give them?
It can really depend on where you get put. I have had a range from 5-30 minute walk. I would say the longest is about 40 minutes.
I have never day parked but I would imagine it takes a while Thursday and then is pretty easy Fri-Sun.
Friends that we meet at roo day park everyday. Their wait was about 10 to 15 minutes each day, and about a 5 minute walk into centroo.
