Had there been 3 in a runoff we would have seen movement, and mafia that spread out and clump back together when it's the final vote time are easier to pick out. Plus having more options of who to vote for where some eventually get whacked we get to see that too. It not only helps with compiling data on the vote offs, it also makes the whacks easier to decipher.

Yes, even though it was a 3 person runoff, it didn't play like it was. I was trying to get votes moving by doing anything (including suggesting voting for myself for crying out loud) and the mafia didn't budge. Nobody did, and there was no movement.

I hate to agree with bacon because jazmo has us clumped together. With that said - I don't think there's enough info to vote out surf right now. We need to go with the assumption that carini was the true inspector, and in that case, she had two names and jimmy has to go.
I also am not 100% sold on surf being mafia yet. I know carini seemed super sure, but I don't completely see the connections he was trying to make, so I'm not on that bandwagon as of yet. He's been very talkative and I can understand his posts coming off as defensive because that's the position he was put in. I'm not sure where my vote will go if we make it to another round.

Krissy - I don't have you two clumped together. I'm certain at least one of you is a townie, because if it were you, bacon, and Jimmy, the game would be over. One Mafia is dead and one is Jimmy. The third I'm not sure about.

If I end up making it through the whack, that's going to be a tough vote. Mainly because of me opening my big mouth about bacon. Do they whack me if it's bacon? Well maybe. If they do, it could mean that they dont want the vote on bacon. OR they could want it to LOOK that way to protect (whoever the last mafia is)

I'm giving this the full 12 hours so the timing of the whack cannot be connected to any players who may be logged in. Given that 12 hours from the time day 4 ended would put us at 4am EST, I will round it up to 8am EST tomorrow morning.
Well shit. I don't know if I've ever gotten this far in a game before. That's cool but it also sucks cause this decision is tough as balls.
Carini was super sure surf was mafia. Jazmo threw out theories painting bacon and me as possible mafia. I am going to have to really go through the thread before voting. I don't want to be the one to make the townies lose.
Well, I'm going to address this straight to Krissy, because as you my suspect I think Surfbum is the final mafia. If you are playing me, Krissy, I will throw things.
I have reread the game twice since Carini came out and it all makes sense in my mind that Surf is the third mafia, granted he had an unusual playing style for a mafia, but none the less he is who I have to vote for. Here are a few of my thoughts.
First of all like I said last round, we have to assume Carini is the inspector. The relative silence of Hakuna and Jimmy after he came out seem to prove that he was. Also the fact that this game is still going implies to me that Carini was telling the truth. I don't think we can discount the fact that Carini's #1 suspicion was Surfbum, but there is plenty more that makes it work in my mind.
I don't think much can be deciphered from the first round kill. Sleepy was very, very quiet and his vote for Krissy came very early on in the round. That would be a very risky move if he were inspector and Krissy were his name. My guess is that kill was exactly as some suspected the mafia just trying to give the town no information while eliminating one of the most experienced players.
The second round is more reveling in my mind. There wasn't a ton of discussion going on in the second round and a bunch of double votes were stacking up until I put the 3rd vote on Surfbum to as I put it "force his hand". Then suddenly after I put the 3rd on Surf there was a series of vote changes to JFG. This was the tally right before I voted with known mafia members in bold. Notice Hakunahs possible distancing move by voting for Surfbum
Carini. 2 (jfg, Jazmo) Surfbum 2 (Mike D, Hakuna) Jfg. 2 (Carini, Krissy) Krissy. 1 (Jimmy) Mike D. 1 (Bacon)
Almost immediately after I placed that vote Hakuna came off of surf and voted for Jazmo, who had no votes and put him in a place to have a power position in the 3 person runoff. When the run-off started Jimmy quickly switched to JFG with little to no explanation:

Hakuna didn't vote right away, but then when it appeared a few players were interested in another run-off with surf and JFG he switched his vote to JFG and made it 4-2 for JFG. If that isn't mafia stacking than I don't know what is. I would also like to point out in the 2nd round after my vote Surf switched his vote to Jiimmy, nulled it, switched back to Jimmy and then voted for me in all less than 2 hours. Another distancing vote I think.
The other very important thing to note about the end of the second round is the whack of Mike D
Notice the two people who were voting for Surf at the end of the round. Mike D is one and he was killed. The mafia didn't whack me because I had been very vocal and various people had expressed suspicions about my strategy. Mafia figured I would be an easy kill during the day so they whacked Mike D and then immediately as the 3rd round started tried to start a voting slide on me. The rest is fairly self explanatory after Carini came out. The numbers said that after voting out Hakuna and Jimmy it would come down to this, the mafia probably figured they could whack players in such a way they could win it in the last round and just shut up to not give the town any extra info.
The question then becomes if Surf is mafia, why did they keep alive his biggest skeptic? Well my guess is that I have also been one of the loudest players and made several "suspicious" move. They figured they could convince a towny that I was the third mafia, not to mention if they whacked me it would look very suspicious towards Surf. Not to mention Jaz and Krissy have both been fairly quiet with their suspicions so predicting the outcome of a Jaz, Krissy, Surf final round would be almost impossible.
Sorry Krissy I didn't mean to write a novel.
TL;DR I think Surf is the final mafia and I hope you will agree
