I have 2 O2 cool fans and they work great but 8 D batteries get expensive for each fan. Has anyone ever used the Coleman battery powered fan? It looks like its the same size but only uses 2 or 4 batteries.
I once had a coleman fan that hung from the "roof" of the tent and had a light. It pales in comparison to the 10" O2 Cool fan, which I used last year at Roo and will use again this year.
I have some of the o2 fans as well...one set of batteries usually lasts me the whole weekend and I bought a whole case of D's on Woot for like $12...I think it was 18 or 20 batteries.
That Coleman roof fan is the worst money I ever spent. The light part of it is nice, but there are cheaper and brighter options. The o2 fan is nothing special... yet vital at the same time. It gives me an extra hour or two sleep every morning. I just deal with the battery prices. The batteries usually last me a 2 or so years.
