There was a thread a while back where someone asked where they could attend services on Sunday so I would assume there's at least one group you could connect with! I am decidedly NOT a Christian but I know that one of the pods does a service on Sunday where lots of other folks down with G-O-D will be. Good luck!

I also camped right behind the Jesus tent last year and they were really awesome. It was annoying because some of my camp mates would go over there, get free food, electricity and then come back and complain about too much Jesus talk. D'oh!

Just a question. Why do you have to clarify that you like to party while saying your a Christian? I am not saying it is hypocritical statement, I believe you can still party and be a Christian, and I have zero problem with that. It just strikes me as trying to defend your Christianity, you don't need to do that on this board. Who gives a freak what anyone thinks when it comes to something as personal as your faith. If people really have a problem with your personal spirituality, then that's a sad day for them. On the flip side if someone has a "personal faith" that they shove in others faces, then that is another story.

Because normally people will assume I am against all sorts of debaucherous behavior because of things the old testament forbids. Of course as a modern Christian, Levitical law don't apply to us. And a lot of people have a view of christians as being right wing psychos who hate gays, handle venomous snakes, and shun anything that isn't vanilla and unicorns. I get really worried that whenever I say I'm a Christian that THAT is what people are assuming I am talking about. I follow two rules. Love God with all your heart mind and soul, and love everyone else as yourself. Everything else just falls into place if you do that.
On another note.. There is a Jesus tent!?? thats awesome. Please give me coordinates so I can get my booty to it!

Okay, will do. Also let me rephrase.. debaucherous kind of implies orgies and cocaine. That's not really my thing either. I'm married. and sober, mostly.
The 'Jesus tent' is located near Pod 9, at least thats where it was last year. They gave away free ice until they ran out, and had outlets to charge your phones. They were really nice people. Not shoving their beliefs down your throat and seemed like genuine people.
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.

I hear your point, it is sad when the word Christianity makes people assume those things about another individual, and your reasoning makes sense. I'm glad to see you were not offended, not my intent at all. Maybe I'll run into you at the Jesus tent. There are also several churches that are close for Sunday am, not sure the denominations, but one of our crew went to a Catholic mass and said that he was welcomed and did not feel judged at all. I think you have more options if you want them.
