Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
How far from the Bonnaroo grounds is this address? How easy will it be for us to get to the show once we're dropped off? Do you guys have any suggestions or tips?
What are the chances of us getting a ride with someone from the Greyhound station to the event?
from what I can find on google maps, the greyhound station is only like a max of 5-6 miles northwest of bonnaroo...
here's the best way I could find for you guys to get there if you had to trek on foot..
walk north up Woodbury highway (going towards the interstate) cross the interstate, and turn left at Interstate drive (or you could walk on the side of the interstate, but I'm not sure how safe that would be..)
walk down interstate drive until it stops at highway 55 ( McMinnville Hwy). Hang a right, and walk about 600 feet or so to Ragsdale Rd. (it'll be on your left). go down Ragsdale, until you hit the curve, where the turn off to New Bushy Branch rd. is. Walk down New Bushy Branch until you hit the Roo!
It's not that far of a walk, really, but I'd imagine that it could be a rough trek if you have alot of stuff with you (I'm assuming you're backpacking this, so it may not be a problem.)
but, I'm sure that if you saw a local, they might give you a ride for a few bucks... and in any case, as long as you're walking that way, you're bound to find fellow roosters out and about near the interstate exits and stuff, maybe you could catch a ride with them as well...
I hope this helps you out some... have safe travels, and hope to see you at the Roo! ;D

orthox, I am leaving late Wed. night from Kennesaw/Acworth and returning Monday morning. I am going solo and have extra seats if you are interested. All I ask is for help with gas. Just thought I'd put the offer out there.
