Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Can we get a headcount on how many people are interested in meeting on Tuesday night? This may influence where we try to meet up a little bit. You can count me in and I'll help serve as a local host to this event.
Ok, so let's assume Midtown (college/young professionals/nightlife) for the time being. Several bars to hop around after dinner, walking distance/cheap cab for majority of guests. My recommendations are as follows while taking into consideration larger group, drinking, unique to Nashville, and good/local dishes. Perhaps, the crew who wants to stay out a little later, can take a short cab ride to downtown/Broadway to see the more touristy area and drink cheap beers at a honky tonk (Robert's).
South Street - Awesome upstairs bar aka Treehouse - BBQ, Seafood, menu
Blackstone Brewery - Not the most amazing food, but one of the older/bigger breweries in town, menu
The Row - Southern food, BBQ, Burgers, Steaks, menu
Two Boots Pizza - Unique pizzas, enough room for a group of 10 or less probably, located where an old record store was if you're into sentimental stuff! menu
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

I may come, but I'm not sure yet. I sometimes get overwhelmed right before Roo with everything I need to do/buy etc., but I will do my best to show up wherever you decide!
I am picking up Bonz and Tronik at the airport Tuesday night and will already be with Bunny. Going straight from the airport we are planning on being at Beyond the Edge right around 10.

10pm?? I'm an old lady, so I will be in bed by then Gotta get up for work the next morning. Super sad though.

I don't land until 9:25...
This may work out pretty well for a midtown/east nashville tour aka progressive dinner. I think the midtown meetup will be more around happy hour/dinner time and not too far into the 10pm hour. This could give everyone who wants to join, a pretty good sampling of Nashville.

I have been kicking myself in the ass for not making the 25 minute drive to Nashville to meet/hang out with our semi local to me inforoo crowd, especially now that I'm moving. I would love to get some pre - Roo time in with my snapchat peoples!

I don't know what else is going on in town on that Tuesday but here are a few acts I know won't disappoint:
Tuesday- dan McGuinness - Rock Show: a bunch of musicians from assorted rock/metal bands like Alice Cooper, Thin Lizzy and Ted Nugent get together and shred some 70's-80's rock/metal. No Cover. 8-11pm Wednesday- @the Building in East Nashville - Dave Pahanish. A great songwriter with a swampy southern rock thing. (sound can be questionable there at times). some sort of cover. Wednesday - dan McGuinness - Clay Evans and friends. here is a video of just him but he usually has some percussion a horn or two and some various sit in's. No cover. 5:30pm-10ish
there isn't much on the calendar right now, but a few days before that Tuesday or Wednesday check out Nowplayingnashville.com and it has a decent list of what is going on around town, not just music stuff either.
I see Phosphorescent is playing in town... so are the Allah la's. 2 bands that will be playing Roo. Enjoy!
I would love to meet up with ya'll and do a tour of my old stomping grounds, but I booked my flight too late and it was $125 cheaper to fly in early Wednesday morning as opposed to Tuesday morning. That's $125 more for drinking money at 'Roo! I guess I'll see ya'll on the farm, unless there are some lunch meetups on Wednesday.
I'm not sure about Wednesday night but lunch might work. We have to get all our last minute stuff like food and dry-ice and all that before heading out but we are still debating heading out Wednesday night or early Thursday. Plans may change.
So I think we're going to hold off with making official Wednesday plans for now- make sure we don't have too much last minute errands and such before committing. I don't foresee it being a problem, but better safe than sorry!

You can also count me in for Tuesday night, along with one other person! Thanks for moving the conversation to this thread for official plan-making!! ????
