Are you guys camping again or doing a hotel? They have shuttles out of Dessau that run till 8AM that make it a breeze to book a hotel there.
I think we are camping again. I noticed the cheap hotels and shuttle - problem is I don't know if I can coordinate it all with the other people we are meeting. Mixery at least puts us together.
Melt! should be in your top euro fests to check out list.
That one is up there, what makes it awesome?
Me and jonesjupiter are going again.
But no the festival grounds are crazy cool with all the mega sized construction machines, and the fact that its a huge peninsula out into a giant lake with access to the beach at all times. Plus a great all around lineup every year with hours that go from 8PM - 8AM each day of the festival. and the weather is nice and cool with usually a few instances of a drizzle, no hot heat. the crowds are very mature and relaxed, no raging bros or douchebags fighting for a rail.
jonesjupiter can comment on the camping experience since i did a hotel.

One year, I promise I will make this happen.
God damn!
I think I'll try to move to the Netherlands if nothing works out here.
Edit: And yes, you can stay at my place when you visit for these festivals.

Yes, Pitchfork Paris is overall amazing!
At least we're gonna be seeing one of those acts tonight!

Came here to mention this to you, of course you were way ahead of me. That Converge dude curating part of this seems cool.
It’s always on my radar, honestly. This year I saw Bell Witch post about it and just buried my head in my hands. This has the beginnings of a great year.

I think every year is great for music nerds like us.

The ???'s on the Le Guess Who schedule are cool, but way too many ridiculous conflicts and travel time to jump from venue to venue (Mount Eerie, for one). These were better in prior years.
