Did you camp? it seems kinda annoying that it ends at 10 and is so far from the main part of Amsterdam but the lineup is so good and I'm sure theres great after parties.
Haven't been to the fest but been to Amsterdam a handful of times. Even though it seems like the outskirts it's a very easy city to get around in. For me half the fun is just traveling through the city where most places its about specific destinations. +1 to biking it

Thought about doing this last year but Katharsis scheduled the acts I most wanted to see at the beginning of the night and wasn't sure if I could make it in time. Turns out it probably would've been fine. Ended up doing one official after party and a couple nights at De School.
Yes been twice it’s awesome. Didn’t camp, one year I stayed at an airport hotel which was walking distance from the festival and another year just in Amsterdam.

Was considering it, but just remembered I might be going to Africa for two weeks in August/September, plus Sustain-Release in September, so looking at it now it's not too likely.

Vibes are great, very good energy. Most of the crowd is Dutch or from the UK or Germany. Each stage has a unique design and the main techno tent (UFO) is dark inside with lights etc. The main stage has a cool setup with a canopy for shade, and the headliners are on in the dark.
It’s very fun to dance in the daytime at the selector stage which has extended sets and is surrounded by trees and sunshine, on a wooden floor. Of all the stages that one can be the most fun dance party because of the music style, the extended set, and the forest vibe. Everything is very close together but they do a great job of giving each stage its own personality.
