This seems to be missing some star power...I know the headliners are more popular in the UK than here, but even so, they’re definitely not anywhere near as popular as they once were. I see this one struggling to sell tickets.

Apparently they had Arcade Fire and Nine Inch nails pencilled in for APE, when it looked like they might maybe possibly do some festivals, so this is the backup plan.

Always thought it was strange Placebo never got big outside of the UK. Not that I'm a fan, but they're not half bad live.
They were arena level in Europe and Russia as well for a long time.
I think Placebo was too gay for the USA during their peak to make it just as big. If they started out these days with the same albums, they'd be arena level for sure.
