Haven't been on this board in awhile but I'm doing my first international festival this year and am looking for some help. Has anyone on here gone to Mad Cool Festival before who can provide some basic tips/experiences with that festival? I have a limited understanding of Spanish (my reading and writing is pretty good but it takes me a minute to fully comprehend it during conversations) and I have traveled internationally before, though it's been a few years. But any help/advice anyone can provide is very much appreciated. Oh, and sorry if this has been asked before or answers provided somewhere here but I couldn't find anything doing a basic search.

Embrace things not going smoothly because that's how things are in Madrid. In 18 there was a shuttle back to Centro which was helpful since the 8 line is a ways from the ground and ends in Nuevos ministeres. Drink some kalimotxo at the fest, embrace the ability to get to the front of the crowd easier in Spain.

because a Belgian band playing a French festival definitely means they play an LA festival 2 days later
Despacio is at Picnic, which means Dave and Steph are flying over here regardless. Bands have done way more extreme stuff than just having 2 days to get to another city. And Soulwax has very much done crazier stuff if you ever watched Part of The Weekend Never Dies.
