I'm actually going to be in Edinburgh for about a week that includes the weekend of Connect. I really like Fred Again, MUNA, and boygenius... but outside of a few others I am incredibly unfamiliar with the large majority of names. Might try to go for a single-day, if that's even an option. TBD i guess. Was kinda hoping for more overlap with Reading/Leeds which are that same weekend, with Leeds only being a couple hours away.

They say its not a complete lineup so there could be some other notable names to come up. Its a weird one cause apparently camping might cost more than a full priced ticket. Not sure if singles do come or not.
Raye is a uk artist thats blowing up right now who just released her debut album. Jockstrap is total indie pitchfork fodder. Confidence Man is a party and a half with their live show. Kelly Lee Owens and Daniel Avery are some great electronic producers. Kruder and Dorfmeister are an old school dance act. Lightning Seeds are one of those lesser known brit pop acts from the 90's. The House Gospel Choir is literally their name. They do old house music songs with a small choir, its a lot of fun
Yup. Been 4 times, not going this year. Usually get a big dose of envy years I’m not going when the lineup comes out but I have no regrets this year. What a horrible lineup for Glastonbury. Worst they’ve had in 10+ years.
Rock en Seine 2023. Having trouble embedding, will continue to try but if anyone else can get it to work, feel free. Very nice festival just outside of Paris, I went in 2019 and 2022.

Rock en Seine just added Christine and the Queens, Amyl and the Sniffers, Boygenius, and a few others this week, and I believe they still have another wave of names to reveal. Really stacked already, trying to make it my first international festival since it lines up well with my cousin's wedding in Europe. Good to know it's a nice fest!
Edit: Wait, I went to that festival in Vancouver that only lasted one year. First non-North American festival I meant!
11/19: Caribou 11/22: Ranger Trucco 11/29: Armand Van Helden* 1/16: L'Impératrice 1/30: Jamie xx 2/1: DJ Seinfeld 2/7: Mild Minds* 3/1: Father John Misty* 3/19: Confidence Man 3/23: DARKSIDE 5/8: Rüfüs Du Sol
Zach Bryan might pull out of Festival de Quebec because he’s so disappointed at the moment and he can play at some country music festivals instead of some rock and pop ones and he’s a country star.
Wishing Boner was around so I can tell him that he’s a lucky mother fucker.
10 years late but they finally have John Dwyer!!!! I mean they did get Thee Oh Sees in 2014, but that was the year of the flood when I escaped Calgary just before my tbe parking garage of the hotel was under water, but that’s a story for another time…
I will have to cash in some solo trip points and desert my family for a weekend me thinks….
