Although the Los Angeles edition last year went well, the city will miss out on Primavera this year for a couple of reasons. The European and South American editions are booked within a close timeframe, trading artists across two to three weekends. The Los Angeles date in September happened in isolation event, which proved to be a booking challenge for the festival organizers. Furthermore, the American market is saturated, according to Lanza, which led to the decision to skip this year to reassess how to move forward.

I would say likely. The Cure is in their wheelhouse (Have booked Kraftwerk, New Order, Pet Shop Boys, etc). Their South/Latin America dates are dropping soon then there’s the Primavera leak with them there in November.

As a Chicago native, you should put Bitchin Bajas in your wheelhouse. Tom Skinner is a name you should know as he was the former drummer for Sons of Kemet and currently a resident of The Smile. Stephen O'Malley is best known for being in Sunn 0))).

what I am hearing is Lana is now an exclusive LN artist, meaning we'll hardly see her at Coachella. She will probably do all the Prima's this year and Barca / Madrid next.
No word just on some acts on the line up which was enough to convince me to book my flight asap.
