Hello everyone!! This will be my second roo! I was unknowingly ill last year and I thought I'd start a thread about this!
I am a diabetic and have been for over a decade, I also have a minor thyroid condition and bladder issues. I started this if anyone wanted or needed some advice about the roo experience and handling your disease, but also if anyone had some advice I may not have thought about yet! I hope everyone is staying healthy and fit, but if youd like to talk about things I'm always here.

I can offer a little bit of advice. For any prescription medication you bring to the campgrounds, be sure to have it in its original dispensed container that which has the original dispensed label (the one with your name and medication name on it). And then if you are taking only a few pills in with you to Centeroo (because you don’t want to carry a large container), take a photocopy of the label with you (you will need to do this in advance of course)or a copy of the extra paperwork the pharmacy always attaches to the bag. They closely looked at my OTC medication when going past security last year and then finally saw the “Advil” on the pill and it was no problem. But they sure looked closely at it! If they can’t tell what it is then you pull out your prescription and your ID, and they will see it is prescribed to you.

You can contact the access folks through the bonnaroo website. If you have insulin, I have heard they can keep it in the medical tent. No experience with that myself but I have seen threads on here in the past from people who have found the bonnaroo medical people to be helpful

That's pretty groovy if they actually do that, but I like to have my insulin with me at all times just in case. I'm still waitin' fer security to give me guff 'bout my needles and stuff. I will bring down the thunder if they do.
First off, Laura at Access@bonnaroo.com runs an AMAZING access program at Bonnaroo! If you need to get a hold of her, do so NOW! She will get busier and busier as Bonnaroo draws near!
Good advice from above as well! Also do not forget your PRINTED OUT HIGHWAY TAG as well as your HANDICAP PARKING PLACARD (or license plate) for those wanting to CAMP IN ACCESS.

Just an FYI, most insulins don't have to be refridgerated and are good at "room temp" for 28 days after puncture. Read your package in full if you're not sure.
Oh also, please bring ALL of your insurance cards in the case of an emergency. Can't tell you how frustrating if is being in healthcare when someone doesn't have their insurance card because they "just weren't expecting this to happen." Just bring them.
