New festival from the presenters of Rock on the Range. Band announcement coming next Thursday, June 5. I've come to expect the testosterone fueled marketing for stuff like this but the "Music-Whiskey-Gourmet Man Food" tagline is hilarious to me.

I wouldn't be sad if G&R were carried over as a headliner from Rock on the Range. I know it is a crap shoot with Axl but the time I saw them in Huntington 2006 was tremendous. Soundgarden, Slayer, & Queens of the Stone Age would be mighty good for me as well.

I would go if they got GNR and Motörhead. Based on those other lineups everything else would just be a "watch from the back of the crowd" type thing for me. Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden would be great too.
That lineup is terrible but there are some things I'd like to see, like Judas Priest. And when my kid see's Bring Me The Horizon on there she's gonna bug the shit outta me to go. We'll probably end up going if tickets aren't too much cause we can drive home each night.
Thinking about this today, and I really hate the idea of paying money for a lineup that is overwhelmingly a shit pile. I'm not gonna have the money to get 2 $80 presales next Tuesday, and I'm certainly not paying $110 each. Maybe I can pick up a couple Sunday passes cheap closer to festival time for the kid.
