Could not find this from searching the website, so please direct me to the correct spot if already asked:
Just renewed my drivers license , and they gave me a paper (with picture) copy, while my new one comes in the mail. If it does not arrive before we leave for Roo, what other forms of I.d. are accepted for a 21 and up armband?

Last year they gave them away like condoms at the Pride parade. And they didn't even bother putting it on me, just handed it to me and went to the next person.
That last part was about the wristbands, not the condoms.
Bring your passport for ID if your new license doesn't come in time (if you have one). If not, I would just make sure you have a credit card with your name on it so they can see that your paper id isn't fake.

Yeah I agree about bringing backup items with your name (and preferably picture) on it. A passport is just as valid as a license and wouldn't require backup.
And to backup what jfg108 said, I got my wristband at like midnight on Wednesday, when both I and the other guy were already drunk and he just "took our word" that everyone was of age.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Literally the only way to fail to get a 21+ armband is to be tripping so hard that you can't understand what they are asking when they say "21?" to you, and even then they might still put one on you.
Oh damn, I had no idea there were armbands. Are these given out at the tolls or something?
Last year they were handing them out in the line to centeroo, they literally just asked if you were over 21, then gave you one. The right answer is "yes".
As far as I can remember, the only place that you need the armband is at the Brooer's tent. They have a stand set up there where you get your armband and can buy tickets for the specialty beers.
Generally speaking, the regular beer stands are run by local charity volunteers who don't seem to be too picky. And if they turn you down for not having ID or an armband, just go to a different stand.
That said, I rarely drink at Bonnaroo these days so things may have changed. Also, I'm old so people don't card me much anymore.

did they allow you to keep your original license? if so bring that, if there are any issues tell them that is all you have and they shouldn't give you any flack.

The last two years they have also had volunteers roaming around the campgrounds with them. If you want one you'll find it.
Also, you need them at both the brewers tent and sometimes the beer vendors will ask. I know they're usually lax when they're busy but sometimes they do want to see it so just get one.
As part of the group that I actually distributes the armbands there were some people who were extremely relaxed and gave them out to anybody and everybody who wanted one and there were others of us but actually here to the rules and checked ID. For me is a former bartender if you can prove the ID is you and your over 21 but I'll give you an arm band. We were told this year the fall arm bands are to go on the Left rest of everyone. I will be part of the group that will be at the main entrance at the arch hanging out with bands on Thursday morning while everybody stand in line. Look for me and a straw hat and a black Bill Murray shirt.
