Somehow in years past every time I entered the grounds when camping in GA I ended up with with an over-enthusiastic security guard ...with self proclaimed psychic abilities (" I KNOW you are hiding something!!!")
I have experienced the psychic searches, and I have also walked right by beer in hand. Luckily if you have to go back to camp its only a few minutes away.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
They are generally, but not always, more relaxed in searching VIPs.
Perhaps they realize that many of us have teams of lawyers on retainer.
Or perhaps, it might be a lawyer that they're patting down?
They did take a second look at my camera last time I was there but nothing bad. I have always thought the VIP "security" or searches were more lax than the regular. I am literally bringing my own lawyer to Roo this year, just in case. :-)

Roo did include this in their recent news update, "**Due to increased security this year, all bags will go through a more extensive search before entering Centeroo and the Main Venue. A separate Bag Search lane will help keep things orderly. To speed your way in, know what is and isn't allowed in. For added ease, consider using a transparent bag."

For some reason I do recall maybe seeing this last year too though.. Anyone else remember seeing this? Maybe it wasn't roo.
Ruh roh. I hope they don't find my secret laptop pocket in the back of my backpack that has successfully allowed me to sneak in at least 100 beers over the last 4 years....
