So my friends will be getting to the fest at 5pm on Wednesday and I unfortunately have to work and won't be able to leave until noon on Wednesday. I am using Zimride to get to the festival and the group I'm travelling with is anticipating they'll arrive around 11pm on Wednesday. I plan on jumping out of their car and walking in on foot to avoid the line of cars since I'll be camping with my friends who will already be setup.
Has anyone here ever walked into the festival? What is it like? I'll probably just have a backpack because my friends are taking all of my camping equipment and other stuff with them in their car. Will it be a long wait to get in through security at the tollbooth? Also, will they have me take everything out of my backpack (it'll be packed pretty tight) or just give it a look-over. Thanks for the help guys!
