I'm not a bloody mary drinker, as I don't care for tomato juice at all, but what is this? Do you steep the tobacco in V8? Grind it up and sprinkle it on top as a garnish???

Yeah, you add a little (& in my case a little more) to the top of the glass, to add spiciness. I love me a spicy bloody! Also, we add horseradish, celery salt & pepper, to taste. I find V8 is a waaay better base than all of those over-salty & weak in flavor Bloody Mary mixers.

Hmm, interesting. I was a smoker once but not for a few years now, and I haven't put tobacco in mouth since I stopped playing baseball a long time ago. Never thought about using tobacco as a food additive.

Haha, sorry I thought that was just a typo on your part, but apparently it was on mine! I am talking about tabasco, not tobacco. My phone probably changed it because I used an o instead of an a for the first vowel.

Sorry for messing with you, I was having fun and thought someone would have said something immediately. But it did take me a minute to figure out that you meant tabasco, as in hot pepper sauce. That is preferable to tobacco as a drink finisher.
