Merge onto I-264 W via EXIT 5 on the LEFT. 10.4 miles
Merge onto I-65 S via EXIT 12 toward NASHVILLE (Crossing into TENNESSEE). 167.2miles
Merge onto I-24 E via EXIT 86 on the LEFT toward CHATTANOOGA / KNOXVILLE / I-40 E. 64.9 miles
Take the TN-55 W exit- EXIT 111. 0.2 miles
Turn LEFT onto MCMINNVILLE HWY / TN-55 W. 0.2 miles
Turn LEFT onto OLD BUSHY BRANCH RD. 0.1 miles
These are the end of the directions I got off of mapquest. It seems like most people think I-24 is the better entrance rather than Bushy Branch Rd. To take the I-24 entrance would I just stop following the mapquest directions and stay on I-24 East until I hit the Bonnaroo entrance?? How soon should we stop for gas before getting into line? If anyone could clarify this stuff for me that would be great. Getting super excited only 4 more days till we leave!!!!!!
I think people are making the direction into Bonnaroo more difficult than they are... Basically once you're within 30 miles of Manchester you'll start seeing road signs about Bonnaroo. Once you get within 5 miles, it'll be made pretty clear what exit they want you to take (others will be blocked off/cops directing traffic, etc).
IN response to your post - the direct exit off 24 is only available to those coming from the east on 24 - you'll probably directed to exit 112, or as was the case last year, down to exit 127 and back up highway 41.
Thanks for the input. I will be coming in on 24 East so I guess I am just going to stay on that until directed otherwise and disregard the further directions. Whatever works. I just don't want to be lost But from the way it seems that shouldn't be a problem.

Its easy to find your way if you arrive while its dark out; there will be a large beacon in the air that says "Roo" sort of like the Bat Symbol... just follow that!
I'm coming down Rt. 55...meeting friends in Cookeville and heading straight down. Once on 55, will I just see signs? Where exactly is the site...if I'm looking at a map of the area? It's been 4 yrs. so i forget.
If you're on 55 you can't miss it - you will basically run into the line heading in just before you get to the interstate. Here's a little map, hope it helps:

I bought these directions for $7 on ebay. It may sound silly but I thought it was worth a try. They were listed as directions to a secret entrance that would save 9 hours wait time. Can anyone tell me if they are any good?
-Section 1: If coming from the south, Exit I-24 at exit 134 (US-41A/US-64 ) -Go 0.1 mi and bear right onto the US-64 E ramp to Monteagle . -Go 0.1 mi and bear right at US-41-ALT. -Go 0.2 mi and turn left at US-41 -Go 8.3 mi and US-41 will become Hillsboro Hwy – -Go 7.6 mi and turn right onto Stephenson road. (Skip to Section 3)
-Section 2: If coming from the north, Exit I-24 at exit #114 (US-41 exit). -Go 5.5 mi on Old Highway 41 (AKA Highway 2, AKA Hillsboro Highway), turn left onto Stephenson road.
-Section 3: On Stephenson Road, Go 5.2 mi past Roger group, Graveyard, and Lush Cove road (all listed on map). -Stephenson curves to the right (see map). YOU MUST STAY ON STEPHENSON. -When you come to the stop, go straight on Parks road for 2 miles. -Turn Right at the next stop, going onto Viola road. -Go 2.3 mi, and TURN LEFT onto ASBURY road (to the right of Viola, Asbury road is called “Meadows.” ) -Go 4.4. mi, then turn right onto Clifton road. -Go 1 mi, turn left onto Warren road. -Go .3 mi and turn left onto Bushy Branch road. -Go 1 mi, and you are there.
wow, thats quite a roundabout - if you're coming from the north, and you take exit 114 on 41S, Asbury is the third left, and then you can go left on Clifton.
They are legit - but way the hell out of the way. They will get you in the back way which will have the shortest line, so I'll give you that. It's nothing you couldn't have traced out on google maps though.
Oh yeah - and if you arrive later tomorrow - they actually lined up the traffic last year on 41, so that wouldn't save you time if they choose to do that again this year.
