Looking for a good place to grab lunch in Knoxville on Thursday. Don't want to eat fast food, but don't want to have much of a wait either. Thanks in advance!

What kind of food are you looking to eat? How far off the interstate are you willing to go?

I'm thinking Mexican, but up for anything good/semi-quick. 10 miles or so at most probably...gotta get to roo after all

Chez Guevara (https://plus.google.com/104805089435335829027/about?gl=us&hl=en) just got voted Best Southwestern in the local weekly newspaper. It's very close to the interstate as well.
I can't talk about food in Knoxville without mentioning the trifecta of Chandler's Deli (http://www.chandlersstore.com/page/page/5751245.htm) which is BBQ/Ribs/Fried Chicken, Tomato Head (http://www.thetomatohead.com/) which is sandwiches/salad/pizza and Litton's (http://littonsburgers.com/) which is burgers/ridiculous desserts.
If I were to return to the fair city I once called home, I would want to go to Tomato Head, a pizza/sandwich shop downtown. Uses all local ingredients and stuff. I loved that place for a quick bite.
