I can't get the Elton John without having a dimeadozen account, but they are not allowing new members. Can someone please post the torrent somewhere else? or can someone upload it to my dropbox?

Is there any way to access the Neutral Milk Hotel audio other then the link in the OP. I have never used that site and it says registration for the site is closed.

For those trying to register on dimeadozen: Keep trying. They clear out accounts daily

And keep your ratios up people by downloading something new every once in a while and seeding it just to get up there, you can always delete it later, I am at 1.99 right now. There is so much good stuff in there, but once you drop below the required ratio they are real sticklers and it is hard to fix it without the new stuff.
Maybe tapers should use a more accessible, less draconian site, like etree, or the trader's den. One that doesn't delete accounts every day to make room for people who are just gonna use it once to get the one file they're after and then sit around for x months until their account gets deleted in the great circle of life. I'm sure they have some sort of fancy technical reason why that's the best site though

I like dime because it encourages (forces) people to give back. The whole thing doesn't work if every one leeches and doesn't seed. I know people can just create another free email acct and start a new dime acct and wait for open enrollment. That may be a part of it.

I could start using Traders Den or Zomb but I generally upload to dime because theres more people on there. As for etree, that is only taper friendly artists. If I posted Elton John on etree it would get banned. I've been on dimeadozen for nearly 10 years now (I registered Nov 2004) so I always prefer using that site to download/upload.

I'm sure it seems like a very nice, easy site for someone who has new things to contribute and a reason to go on the site regularly
It's not like I'm bad at torrent sites. I've been on what for 4 years and a private tracker for almost 10. This one is just a big pain in the ass for the casual user who just wants to download bonnaroo shows once a year

I use my dime account about once a year to get the shows that arent on archive or etree. Haven't had it deleted in the past 4 years. Just seed the shit out of a popular show and get your ratio way up.

I'm glad you've been fortunate enough to have a positive experience, but it hasn't been so easy for everybody! And yes, I know how ratios work, thank you.

I understand that. I'll post a few of my remaining ones on Traders Den. Dime has always kept strict limits on members. I was going to use dropbox for some of the non archive.org bands but my dropbox public folder got suspended for too much activity...all I had on it was a recording I did of a local band and only one person had clicked the link.

It seems like I was at a lot of shows that didn't get taped. Bummer. Still, you guys have helped me retrieve some amazing memories over the years. I can't thank you enough.
I'm really looking forward to the James Blake and Bluegrass Superjam recordings.
Something I'm really surprised hasn't been brought up as being recorded is the Damon Albarn show. Easily one of my favorites from this year. Anybody? Am I looking in the wrong spot?

First off, once again thanks to all the tapers. Taking the time to pack the equipment and set it up in an ideal location is amazing work and I am in your debt. I assume (since I have looked all over) that no one has found a Kansas Bible Company recording from Sunday. Rumor had it that someone was taping.
