Slightly different topic, but why was late night Saturday seemingly 10X more crowded than Friday late night?
Frank/Flips/Skrilljam time slot added to everyone realizing that this was their last chance to get everything they can out of Roo late nights. My best guess.
Ha. Yes!!!!! So many laughs at that table Thursday night. You were definitely my favorite chance meeting of the weekend. Awesome.
Agreed! and you now know of "the game". sshhhhhh
YOU KEEP YOUR DIRTY WHORE MOUTH SHUT!!!!!!!!!!!!
But yes. The mud situation improved 10 fold before everyone showed up. Thank goodness because the days leading up to Roo were a muddy mess there! And Pod 11 is gone forever now, I believe. At least that's the way it was presented to me.
Driving around all week I felt like I did see less campers. Unfortunately, I didn't spend an abhorrent amount of time in Centeroo as GA, but I could tell that the Disclosure & Saturday Superjam crowds were insane. I felt Kaskade's crowd was way lighter than I thought it'd be. But I attributed that to being so late? The Zedd crowd seemed huge too.
Idk, last year there was like 90k people, or close right? Didn't they announce Sunday they beat Coach's attendance?
I think it was slightly lighter overall crowd, but definitely more conflicts on the schedule. The hugeness of last year's crowd was really evident when Mumford cancelled and the crowd for Lumineers exploded as a result.
This year, there were great options nearly every hour. I only attended a couple of the same shows as my son, and we went in the same car and have pretty similar tastes. But, we had options and we took them. When everyone is spread out over the full expanse of the property, the crowd will seem smaller.
