My bad, I didn't mean to quote your question mark, only that ludicrous statement.
idk I feel like I should listen closer now. That definitely never registered before. The singers couldn't be any more different, as far as the music goes 'shrug'
It's true. The synth pop band you like sounds very similar to the synth pop band you don't like. Not exactly alike, just some obvious similarities.
I think Future Islands is one of the most overrated bands presently wearing out their welcome on the festival circuit, and even I think you're a fucking idiot.

You should try harder to be a gigantic piece of human shit. I'm not quite sure everyone has figured it out yet.

You're terrible at this.
Get some opinions which aren't complete garbage then we'll come back and parlay, okay slugger?
I guess it depends on what version of the Killers you are taking about. If it is When You Were Young/Mr. Brightside era the Killers then hell no. If it's Human/Shot at the Night era The Killers, I would still say no.

Wikipedia says he plays guitar but I don't ever remember him playing anything other than the bass live. Off the top of my head I can't even think of a song that involves a 6 string. Maybe someone can help me out? I'm sure I'm wrong but I am interested in knowing the answer.

Singles has some acoustic guitar layered into a few tracks, but I don't think that's ever been part of the live show. They did do a one-off acoustic show that produced an EP of reworked tracks, and there's a good bit of acoustic guitar on that. It's worth checking out, too:
