Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
It would increase the probability, imo. For Tune-Yards, at least. She played Forecastle last year. I could see them signing her for all three festivals.
Swans was the most poorly attended show that I've seen at Bonnaroo. I wouldn't bet on them being back anytime soon.
I thought Divine Fits was even more empty. But I didn't turn around during Swans to check out the crowd. One of the best sets I've ever seen at Roo.

I just remember moving up every song. Gira was a charmer that day. I'm convinced I will have better seats for Swans than I did Television. That's saying a lot on my end.
Also:
YAY CLARK. Wu Man was also teased today, too. I'm wondering how many more we will get.
I'm totally new here, but it's awesome to find a place where people are talking about this festival. I attended for the first time last year, and it was just incredible in every way. Unfortunately, I don't know too many people around where I live (Chattanooga area) that listen to a lot of the artists that Big Ears usually books, which has left me feeling pretty alone in my excitement for 2015.
So yeah, I'll probably be posting in here quite a bit.
On a related note, Perfume Genius was just teased on Facebook.

Welcome aboard. It's certainly not a festival for everyone. I am pretty excited about a majority of what has been teased so far, but I know most people would just give the list a blank stare wondering who all these names are.
Is Scott Walker really a possibility? I'd freak out if he is announced, of course, but he hasn't played a show in like 30-40 years, right? I know there's the Stephen O'Malley connection there too, from last year, but still.
Doorknob pointed out that Walker did an interview that said they were doing a few shows for the new album. I'm assuming that it's UK. There is still a chance there might be some US shows. I can't think of a better non-NYC place to do just that.
Think we'll get surprised with some top 2 line names or do we already have them all?
I am curious as to how many more names we will get total. I want there to be a big surprise on there, but I don't think it will happen.
They said somewhere that it was 50+ today. I'm super curious about a comment on Facebook. They basically said "stay tuned" when someone asked for more metal. While Swans is heavy, I don't think most people would label them "metal".

^^^My only concern there will be the commuting time and the possibility of taking away from time spent actually seeing shows.
But I love the comment about "secret" shows that will only be announced shortly beforehand. And also the 3-year grant. We've got at least a few more Big Ears to enjoy!
MOAR. I just got tickets to see them the night before Big Ears.
I actually missed that in the article. I'm glad it's there. I'm excited about the outdoor shows but I worry it will end up like the ill fated outdoor stage at Moogfest. Fingers crossed.
