This past year has been one of the best I've ever had, even though it was set up to be one of the worst, and it's because of you people. I'm not sure I can express how much of a difference you guys have made in my life or how much happiness being apart of this community brings me. I've only met a handful of you in person, and the short time I've spent with you all has been so fantastic that I can't wait to be reunited with you and everyone else whom I haven't officially met yet. I want to thank you guys for being so welcoming and dealing with my shenanigans this past year. You have made me laugh, cry, and reached out to me when I needed it. Seriously, when my uncle passed away last month more people here contacted me than my "real life" friends. Which is both kinda sad and pretty amazing. I could try to single out every single one of you, but you all know who you are and even if you don't think this is applies to you, it does. This place, from day one, has been like a beautiful sanctuary for me. When I first joined you guys welcomed me with such LOVE that I couldn't leave even if I wanted to. You were with me at my first festival. You walked through that arch with me my first time entering centeroo. You exposed me to more music than I imagined possible. You...my Inforoo family...my friends...have forever changed my life. What does one say when all words run out?
How about thank you. All of you. Thank you so much. I feel like that phrase isn't strong enough but for now it's all I have. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for the hugs. Thank you for the laughs. Thank you for the prayers. Thank you for always being there. Thank you for being my family.

I feel like the words "thank you" get tossed around a lot in this community that we have here. And usually, it would seem tired. But, quack, we really do have the best friends ever. Ever. One of these days when we're telling our grandchildren or our friends grandchildren about the awesome display of humanity that we all got to experience....we're still going to be able to say how much it meant and how worth it, it all was.

Just realized I registered here a little over a year ago. I was in a stressful, demoralizing and sad chapter at that point in my life.
What a difference a year makes.
You guys taught me what I needed to know for not only my first Roo, but my first major festival ever. Thru this site, I've made friends that I chill with where I live (Gainesville, FL) Found out about Suwannee Music Park that's only an hour north of me and is simply a magical place! Most of my favorite bands I've discovered from recommendations from y'all.
You guys recharged my faith in humanity. I fucking love you guys.

For me, that is huge. Finding this board back in 2011, I was the definition of a lurker. It took winning the QSAROO scholarship in 2012 to bring me out of my shell & begin posting. I started getting to know you guys, meeting up at fests and shows and even college football games. I started posting birthday cakes in the birthday thread, because, well yeah, birthdays are special. This thread has been on my mind in a while and I think it's time to revive it. I'm not as active on the boards anymore and it's been TWO YEARS since I've been to Bonnaroo but the friendships are still strong and I just wanted to take some time to let you know how much you mean in words, on a public forum, because I'm extra like that.
Mike D- Who knew back when we met all those years ago at my first Roo that we would be the friends we are today. You are one a treasure and I hope you realize just how much you are loved and appreciated, not only to me, but to this community. You know this but you are one of my best friends. You continue to challenge yourself to get better and that's just so inspirational. I love you and thank you for everything.
Jaz- I'm actually going to be serious. I adore you and I am so glad to have you in my life. I know you know you're great and yadda yadda but you've helped me through some serious things I've dealt with. You've gotten to know the real me and I can honestly say that you're probably one of 3 people on this earth that I feel I can honestly trust. Thank you for being. Anyways to all of my friends near and far please know that I ADORE EACH OF YOU! This community of people has grown into something way bigger than I ever imagined and my life is all the better for it. So many of you are way more than online friends at this point but I'm thankful for this place for allowing us all the find each other. I am blessed and I hope to be around more and continue to celebrate all of you while you are still here....that was the point of this thread. I want you to know you're not alone....I want you to know you are loved and appreciated. I'm also very lazy and tend to disappear for a while so I like to let things be known while I'm out in public. token07, you are so sweet and awesome also. My house and tour guide services are always open to you. I wish we had more time together when you were here, but am glad that we got to eat, hang out and see each other (plus we got to see a kick ass bon fire!).
