Can anyone who went last year comment on the atmosphere of the car campgrounds before/after the festival? Is it a non-stop party or more of a "I'm exhausted and going to go crash"? Do they monitor/limit what you bring in quantity wise?

Firefly is pretty close to being in Bruce Springsteen's backyard, which I can see being pretty appealing to him. He collects a tidy little paycheck and is close enough to hop in his pj's and be in his own bed by the end of the night. If there's anyone to put an east coast festival on the map, he makes a lot of sense.

No limit on booze the past 2 years. I'd say the scene really depends on your neighbors. Some people definitely choose to party and some crash. After the festival lets out around 2am they have a silent disco in the hubs so I think that's where most of the after party goes.

I'm under 21 and brought copious amounts of booze in in 2013 and 2014. As long as you don't have a keg she'll they don't care.

Very lax security for campgrounds. There is a police presence but they won't bother you unless you are an idiot. As always just be smart and you'll be fine. Silent disco went til about 4 I believe. Inside the fest they do typically card to purchase.
