yes they're annoying, but wow that production is so cool, designed by tomorrowland
If I were them, I couldn't live with myself, knowing that the lights at my show are a thousand times better than the music that I'm playing. (I find it quite annoying when shitty DJ's use eat, sleep, rave, repeat in their sets because they are not on the same level as Fatboy slim)

i'm sure if you were them, you'd live with yourself lol. go to the 1 hr mark and check that crazy shit out. yea the music isn't great, but the show is fuckin crazy
They're "meh" is still so much better than most peoples "best"... Doesn't take away from the quality of what Prydz can do. I'm actually hoping to see him when I go to Miami this March.

Prydz is probably the best of the cheese set, but holding that essential mix up as "better than most peoples [sic] 'best'" tells me you probably haven't listened to much else. It's decent, nothing spectacular.
But the idea of even entertaining discussion on some decent, nuanced, thoughtful and interesting electronic artists in this thread is more or less dead. It's not like Bonnaroo is suddenly going to book some cream of the crop acts, so what's the point? Let's just talk the usual suspects over and over again until we all collapse upon ourselves like dying stars.

Bonnaroo is gonna book a bunch of the same old bullshit and Todd Terje, then no one will go see Terje because he "sounds like Nintendo music" or some other nonsense.

You shouldn't make assumptions about people you don't know. Good progressive house is hard to come by so when I see it, I call it out. This mix is not as good as his last year or his epic 3.0 set, but still good. I still think he would be great on the farm. Doesn't mean I think it will happen...

Dumb question, has Terje been rumored for Roo or was that just a hypothetical?

To catch up:
Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike and the kings of fake it until you make it. They don't produce a single second of any of their "music" and their sets are pretty much identical to 20 other DJ's.
Don't think for a second that AC won't shill out for some gimmicky DJ like Aoki.
As much as we like Brodinski and people like that I don't have too much faith at all that they would get anyone in that wheelhouse of electronic music.
We need thing at Bonnaroo this year (speaking of sets that people wont go to because they know nothing about it even though it's going to own)

I would have never hoped for Daedelus and several of the artists I mentioned previous years. This year, I'm wondering with Moog/Mountain Oasis being gone if they might try to grab some of that crowd and perhaps do a tent like the comedy tent, Boiler Room style?

I've been talking to Alfred about Bonnaroo and fest in general, he said that as of now he isn't playing bonnaroo but that he really hopes that he gets to play roo one day soon.

to be fair, intro sounds a helluva lot like the underwater worlds in donkey kong country.
