I think the Mau5 may be our cheese (pun both intended and not). I mean come on, is there really a bigger name across the EDM landscape than Deadmau5? My hope is for a Mau5/Nectar combo but I'm not going to hold my breath.
You should of seen the disappointment at Made in America when all the bros saw their first Mau5 show. They wanted cheese and smoke cannons and instead got Joel.
Love it. I hope we get this Joel. A little more dark and what not just to irritate all the bros because it isn't nonstop DERP DERP DERP DERP DERPERPEREPREPRPERPERPEPRE LET ME SEE YOU'RE QUACKING HANDS! WOMP WOMP WOMP WOMP WOMP!

i have a feeling he'll give us what we want to here, and it will be awesome
This may be an unpopular opinion but, I really don't get the Girl Talk hype. I saw Girl Talk at a free concert this fall and had a good time, but would probably never pay to see his show. Honestly I preferred Chrome Sparks who opened for him. Maybe mash-ups just aren't my thing but, I couldn't see myself paying to see his show or choosing that over the other LN options on the farm. He just seemed like a really good club DJ to me, but I guess different strokes for different folks. On the other hand I went to my first Bassnectar show this fall and had a blast and really hope I can get my face melted by him at Roo this year.

You want to fist bump? Heres the whole Call of Cthulhu intro for you.
If we get Bassnectar I have a feeling we will share him which makes it less likely. He did not play SA last year.
Now I'm doing research. Pretty Lights and Diplo seem like way more of a possibility now. In my eyes at least since they were pretty much headliners last year and you can about bet that Tiesto will headline there again (we don't want him on the farm anyways) and Hardwell will take a night as well.

I can't be the only one who doesn't want Pretty Lights. Bassnectar is "overdue" (like that means anything) and the PL shows have gotten way too jammy since the full band deal came around. The show in 2013 was a madhouse but maybe something different is needed?

For me, he is really just a great festival reprieve. After listening to full sets all day, every day you can go to girl talk and party with some hit singles in his unique mash up way. Im not buying the album or anything.

Oh you aren't alone on that opinion. If you mentioned him the Headliner Thread you would get thrashed. His sets are pretty much a giant houseparty. So it's all in preference. I know he's been doing a lot more in the original rap music and stuff now. I believe last year his set he brought up a lot of rappers and stuff with him so I'm sure his stuff has changed over time so I don't know what he would bring to the table this time around. I just think a random house party in a tent randomly at Roo would be fun haha but I totally understand why some people don't like it.

I've never seen him but I listen to his radio show from time to time and enjoy it and it seems like something that would fit on the farm but I guess I don't know if I would really enjoy him or not.

So Insider said she's about "90% sure" that Bassnectar will be there. He's headlining Electric Forest so I don't know why he would fall so down the card here but I guess he could be on the 2nd line and that isn't downplaying him or anything like that.

i was quite honored to get quoted, he could easily still get late night which as well

Would be pretty big if those two both got prominent spots. and I am on board with you sir. I do think that Deadmau5 has finally put his new production together to where he wants it and will test it out at these festivals before embarking on his own tour. I would imagine they have everything down on how to set up and take down at a reasonable pace. I think he gets a What Stage Spot unless MMJ ends up on that top 4 somehow out of no where. Which I wish people would just get over and move on from probably not going to be there.

Probably the last bit of inside news I'll have for the year: I'm sure most people expected it but I have it confirmed Kendrick and Deadmau5 will be back to back unopposed on the what stage one night. Much like the Stevie/Jay situation a few years back. 5 days =)
I would only want Jack U for a chance of another secret Skrillex set honestly. He usually takes over most of the jack U Dj sets anyway.
anytime you can get skrillex on the farm you should. diplo def does his share of mc'ing
MC's ruin so many Dj sets for me I can't stand it. Wouldn't complain much though, Diplo posted a throwback on Instagram from Bonnaroo 2012 so I wouldn't be too surprised to see ML or Diplo himself on the Lineup.

We can only hope Diplo woukd grace our presence at the farm this year. Im also not wavering on the prediction that Above and Beyond will be on the Farm this year. It MUST and WILL happen

I will be happy if you are right, or if diplo will grace us, either or is cool with me
