More realistic top edm acts: Deadmau5 Bassnectar Eric Prydz
Lower edm acts: Flume (LN and he can have rapper or two come out and perform their songs with him) Shpongle Big Gigantic Flying Lotus Beats Antique Deadalus Bonobo Flux Pavillion Diplo
And a million other acts that I don't have time to list
Shit how could I forget Deadalus on my list. Yes please.
He is seriously one of my favorite DJ's around, his style is different and unique, plus he wears a three piece suit, THAT'S a classy act!! And plus he knows how to get a crowd moving as good as any other DJ and he always has quite a few treats buried in his sets that truly surprise the crowd and get em excited.
Any chance for Avicii and/or Tiesto? I know I saw some comments saying anyone but Avicii or whatever but I've never seen him and I'm interested how True (or the remixes) sound live. I also want Justice, Deadmau5, Above and Beyond, Big Gigantic, Alesso, Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, 3LAU or Porter Robinson...and obviously Daft Punk.
He's been at three Bonnaroos in six years. He's toured my area constantly and been at other fests I've been to.
I'm good on Pretty Lights for a while.
Iv seen him 14 times and would see him 14 times more... Everytime I see him I feel like it's a new experience... At Firefly he had Dom from Big Gigantic accompanying half his set on the sax, at Mountain Jam he had Warren Haynes come out for a song. When he has the full live band it's insanely epic. I still maintain that his show in 13' was the best EDM show the farm has ever hosted. I say if he wants to come back he should be allowed to come back!
Don't agree with you except for the fact that he should come back with the live band. I really don't need him to come back and do 2013 over again.
Bonnaroo would never book what I really want but I've long come to terms with that.
I'm sure we will end up with the like of Deadmau5, Bassnectar, Calvin Harris, etc
What I would love to see (anywhere for that matter)
Boards of Canada Donato Dozzy Richie Hawtin Plastikman set Shakleton Ellen Allien (still the best techno set I have ever seen) Robert Hood Plaid Moderat Art Department Jon Talabot Nosaj Thing
On a more realistic level I wouldn't mind seeing Crystal Castles, Jon Hopkins, Four Tet, Gesaffelstein, and SOHN again.
Also is Paper Diamond boring or what? I watched a good portion of the 2013 Bonnaroo show and it was the most generic EDM I've ever heard.
I could have easily skipped that set and not have regretted it. By the time I decided to leave the tent That Tent was already overflowing with people waiting for Alt-J. What a horrible Thursday in 2013 compared to 2014, for me anyways.

They should do a PLM tent! A day of Paul Basic, Super Vision, Michal Menert, and Gramatik sounds awesome to me.

Just no wasting the any of the top billings on Steve Aoki, Avicii, or Tiesto please
I would be fine with Pretty Lights, I have seen him twice once with and once without his band both times were amazing
Perosonally I would say that I wouldn't hate Avicii or Tiesto, Avicii is at least trying new stuff and Tiesto is a legend as far as I'm concerned. Yes, now a days he cranks out the pop hits and what not, whatever.
My real point of this repsonse is that Steve Aoki is literally a joke....http://wundergroundmusic.com/steve-aoki-shocks-edm-community-by-admitting-that-he-is-not-an-actual-dj/

Absolutely the same. The best show I saw on Thursday 2013 was honestly Twenty One Pilots, and I have zero interest in their recorded output.
FTR, Deadmau5 has not ruled out playing festivals (a rumor I've seen on here a few times):
"None of which is to say that Zimmerman would refuse to play a festival on principle, mind you. “I’m also teetering in the realm of still being able to come out to these festivals and humor the shitheads and have a good time for the sake of having a good time,” he says."
Bro Safari RL Grime Adventure Club Duke Dumont Carnage Seven Lions W&W Noisecontrollers Arty Rusko Steve Angello Brillz
I say a little hardstyle trap would do roo some good.
Carnage would be a good time at the farm, hell he doesn't even need to be there, just play his festival trap set lol. W&W would be friggin awesome as well
Lets just bring Disclosure back! Been listening to the Pharrell remix all day (tried listening to the new Usher remix and didn't really dig it too much though)

I have to say I've had a very pleasant Beats Antique experience. I LOVE the chick on stage dancing.
As much as I enjoy infected mushroom (really the only psy-trance that I will listen to) I have heard nothing but terrible things about his recent shows. Are you guys saying you him just because you like his recorded work or are you basing it off his live show? I'm just curious because he can still throw down a crazy set, I'd love to see him do it on the farm P.S. That gif is classic, hard to beat fiction

I've never personally seen them that's why I want them there. I've heard pretty mixed reviews though.

Ahhh, ok, I just wasn't sure if he had blown you away with such an amazing set that you wanted to see it at roo. On a similar note, have you heard any reviews on Grimes or has anyone else heard about or seen Grimes live? Because I really want to see her live, I'm not sure how it would translate and whether or not she uses a band or DJ or what...

I haven't seen her either but everyone I know who has said she was awesome and I saw favorable reviews from her Governors ball show. Excited to hear her new album though.
