Ahhh, ok, I just wasn't sure if he had blown you away with such an amazing set that you wanted to see it at roo. On a similar note, have you heard any reviews on Grimes or has anyone else heard about or seen Grimes live? Because I really want to see her live, I'm not sure how it would translate and whether or not she uses a band or DJ or what...
I haven't seen her either but everyone I know who has said she was awesome and I saw favorable reviews from her Governors ball show. Excited to hear her new album though.
Saw her at acl. Her keyboard wasnt working properly so she had to improvise a lot with her songs which made for a unique set but IMO she killed it. Also I feel she will just get better over time live. Either the fanboy or whiskey talking but none the less..
Lets just bring Disclosure back! Been listening to the Pharrell remix all day (tried listening to the new Usher remix and didn't really dig it too much though)
Eric Prydz Above & Beyond New World Punx Big Gigantic Deadmau5 (never seen him, would like to) Sasha & Digweed 6 hour marathon tag set (like the good ol' days!) Dave Christophere (the farm needs some Rabbit in the Moon...)
Music For The Jilted Generation was so fucking good. Wish they would play 3 Kilos and Charley though. Out of Space and Everybody in the Place would also be great.
Whatever, they would absolutely be a must see regardless. Would love to see Prodigy live
Most have been mentioned (and are unrealistic), but let me second...
Chemical Brothers Basement Jaxx The Presets Flying Lotus Matthew Dear Hot Chip MIA Gestaffelstein Modeselektor Grimes Ace of Base Duck Sauce Justice Crystal Castles Royksopp The Knife Peaches Missy and Timbaland
Deadmau5 Friday, Basslights set into the sunshine Saturday?
Bassnectar could definitely play 2nd on Which LN and play till sunrise, kinda like Flaming Lips > Kaskade this year Sat night. IF we scored Deadmau5 there's a good chance his new production wouldn't allow anyone but him playing Which LN.
Deadmau5 Friday, Basslights set into the sunshine Saturday?
Now THAT won't happen, though it'd be amazing. I think it is possible for them to get two of those three acts at roo the same year. Besides, Idk if they'd agree to the schedule being Basslights because they do that as a huge special event ya know? I pray that that do Basslights one night, but I think if they got both, they'd schedule them on separate nights. As cool as Basslights would be, it'd be great to have pretty lights go til sunrise Friday night and Bassnectar go til sunrise Saturday (or vice versa)
You guys keep saying Basslights like its a colab w/ Bassnectar and PL. You all do realize that Basslights is merely the name of an event held in Virginia before NYE the past few years right?
Its like saying I hope we get Mad Decent Block Party or Life In Color at Bonnaroo. Makes no sense.

I mean "Basslights" as in if "both artist" will be EDM headliners. Back to back perhaps, but not at the same time in any collaborative way. Only people pulling that off is Bay Z right now.
Even so, doubt we get both. One of the 2 followed by some cheesEDM is more likely. PL still hasnt had his band on the farm, and Bassnectar has a new album out, but I am hoping for some Mau5 thrown in there to see what hes been working on stage wise.

Yup, just can't wait to see what he's come up with, and really hoping it makes it to the farm
